As the retention marketing manager, you will be Sling's point person for reducing subscriber turnover. You will lead the development & execution of Sling's retention marketing strategy and be a key member of a retention cross-functional team that includes product & design. Some of your main tools for reducing churn are retention offers, customer journeys, product engagement, cancel subscription flow, my account, email, in-app messaging and cross-channel advertising . However, this role is not confined to any one specific tactic, and to maximize success, you must be willing to learn new things and explore opportunities you are not familiar with. Being curious and having a sense of adventure is imperative.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of Sling's retention marketing strategy
- Work as part of a cross-functional team that includes product, design and development to build and bring churn-reducing products to market
- Work with channel-specialists on email, in-app messaging and cross-channel advertising targeted to active subscribers
- Constantly explore new retention marketing tactics
- Report on churn-related key performance indicators
Skills, Experience and Requirements

Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in a relevant marketing role.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent experience preferred; MBA is a plus
- Experience running tests and using data to make decisions
- Experience with marketing automation tools a plus

Salary Range
Compensation: $89,275.00/Year - $118,425.00/Year
