Marketing Manager II
Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Marketing Manager II in the Customer Retention department will be responsible for planning and coordinating all existing customer proactive and reactive marketing communications related to programming contract expirations. This role works with numerous teams including Customer Retention, Satellite Operations, Programming, Marketing, Call Center Operations and the Executive Office. Long range plans are developed and executed with customer messaging and offers which include electronic, video commercial, and traditional media. This position manages end-to-end planning and deployment of tactics to reduce churn and increase Net Promoter Scores.
Primary responsibilities fall into the following:
- Works with executive leadership and programming to scope project specifications with communication tactics and scheduling. Works cross-functionally as a team to deploy strategies for all customer touch points.
- Represents the Existing Customer Marketing team on all company-wide meetings for each contract expiration. Makes decisions on long-range and short-term emerging strategies.
- Leads competitive analysis on programmers in order to understand and deploy more effective communications.
- Marketing - Develops all customer facing communications including messaging and creative.
- Operations - Works cross-functionally to recommend and implement operational enhancements and solutions.
- Acts as expert to all levels in the organization for status and recommendations for change.
Skills, Experience and Requirements
A successful Marketing Manager II will have the the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Operations, Management or related field and 5-7 years experience in a project management role.
- A comprehensive knowledge of marketing principles including operational execution, copy development and creative development.
- Ability to to understand and work in a technical environment related to broadcast and customer interface systems.
- Solid experience in Microsoft Suite or Google.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule 10-20 days per year where the schedule may require a shift during the evening hours or weekend.
Salary Range
Compensation: $87,500.00/Year - $125,000.00/Year
