As a key member of the executive leadership team, this role will report directly into the CEO and is responsible for the Human API's core marketing and communications strategy with a focus on further strengthening the company’s awareness, perception, and reputation to drive growth.

What you'll do

  • Drive the vision, strategy and execution of an integrated end-to-end marketing function, including media, brand, product, positioning, and solution marketing
  • Develop and manage comprehensive omni-channel marketing plans/budgets to meet revenue and market positioning goals
  • Lead the evolution of Human API’s brand architecture, messaging, positioning, and overall narrative to ensure consistent communication of our brand both internally and externally
  • Craft and guide a unified messaging and positioning strategy that speaks to our evolution as a company and our different use cases
  • Develop, execute, and optimize campaigns for our core solution areas in partnership with the sales and product teams.
  • Oversee the day-to-day activities of the marketing team, including product marketing, marketing content and collateral, demand generation, and in-house design
  • Drive marketing at scale through data-driven insights and results
  • Drive strategy for industry and media exposure including press releases, award submissions, and speaking engagements
  • Evangelize and champion the HAPI brand and train the organization to convey consistent brand image externally
  • Set clear priorities with the executive team and rebalance based upon market direction and performance
  • Measure the performance of all marketing team activities and campaigns, assess ROI against KPIs, and refine activities and strategies to achieve them
  • Direct HAPI’s market research efforts by cultivating a deep understanding of our target markets; including evolution of the digital health, life insurance, and life sciences verticals

 

About you

  • 8+ years in a marketing leadership role
  • Previous experience driving messaging and positioning for an early stage company
  • Experience successfully marketing to the C-suite of a fortune 500 company
  • Experience driving strategy for an organization with brand positioning that can vary by solution
  • Experience in developing outcome based strategies with confidence in data-led marketing
  • Visionary with passion and drive –but not afraid to get your hands dirty
  • Ability to think on your feet, lead your team and change course quickly
  • Ability to manage budget across working media and vendors
  • Strong attention to detail. You’ll have ownership of Human API’s brand and positioning and will measure their success. Being detail oriented, thorough, creative and analytical will help you be successful
  • Tenacity. A big part of this role is keeping an even keel, exercising relentless curiosity, and solving hard problems

 

 

The salary range for this role is broad, as we are open to candidates of various backgrounds and levels of experience, however we expect a typical candidate to earn between 190 and 250 OTE with flex on both ends to accommodate different seniority levels.
