Marketing Coordinator

Its services offer membership-based borrowing that allow financial institutions to get indirectly involved with this new asset class while giving consumers a way to leverage their blockchain-backed assets to secure cash loans – linking cryptocurrency with traditional lending models for the first time. SALT Blockchain Asset Management is the financial services arm of the company and is building a high performing marketing team. This team will be made up of skilled marketing practitioners who are creative and edgy, have a service mentality and build smart compelling marketing streams that get results. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Coordinator will play an important role in building this team, its processes and executing a wide array of marketing efforts.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research to analyze customers’ behavior (e.g. purchasing habits, trends and preferences)
- Design and implement successful marketing campaigns
- Performs basic public relations duties such as developing media lists and awards calendars
- Manages events, tradeshows, and client events
- Set up tracking systems for marketing and public relations activities
- Track progress of all marketing activities and execute monthly reporting
- Identify and analyze competitors
- Prepare sales reports by collecting and analyzing sales data
- Collaborate with the design department to produce promotional materials
- Craft clear product marketing copy
- Organize promotional activities for new products/services
- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) forecast
- Support CMO and Marketing Director as needed, including administrative duties
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator
- Experience in media and public relations activities
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools, including social media platforms
- Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns
- Solid computer skills, including MS Office, web analytics and Google Adwords
- Familiarity with Salesforce and email automation platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Positive, "can-do" attitude that aims to please
- BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field, preferred not required
Basic Qualifications:
- Must have 3 – 5 years marketing experience
- 3-5 years in regulated financial services company, preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must be able to lift up to 49 lbs and stand or walk for up to 4 hours with or without reasonable accommodation

Full-Time. Approximately 40 hours a week. (M-F 9:00am - 6:00pm)
