WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Our Marketing Team is looking for a Marketing Coordinator with outstanding organizational, time management and communication skills. This individual should be creative, detail-oriented and have a solid understanding of various traditional and digital marketing tactics. Top candidates will have a knack for wearing multiple hats, strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Our ideal candidate is a highly efficient and organized person, an excellent project manager and a selfless team player. The Marketing Coordinator will work collaboratively with various departments.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Manage SambaSafety’s social media presence by posting to LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, monitor platforms for customer engagement, brand mentions and maintain updated and engaging profiles
- Test various components of social posts, including imagery used, scheduled time of posts, hashtags, boosted posts and more to optimize and continuously improve our social media strategy
- Develop monthly reports to track the performance of digital marketing campaigns, including website traffic, leads, marketing attribution, digital ad performance, social media engagement and more and present findings to the team
- Own the company’s WordPress website, including updating the site, uploading weekly blog posts and ensuring all website conversions are being properly tracked
- Coordinate with design team to deliver necessary ad creative to our digital marketing agency, ensuring we’re running high performing campaigns and switching out creative as needed
- Assist Marketing Operations Specialist with campaign testing, database management and the execution of new marketing campaigns in our automation platform, Marketo
- Maintain highly organized internal resource library for marketing collateral, branding assets and design files and ensure teams across the organization know where to find these materials
- Customize various marketing assets, including PowerPoint presentations, Adobe files and Word templates based on the needs of sales and other teams within the organization
- Support the Marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing and tracking of marketing programs such as email, event, social media or content marketing
- Coordinate marketing events, including overseeing logistics, managing registrations, coordinating with vendors and ordering marketing collateral
- Manage and maintain promotional materials by coordinating requirements, inventorying stock, placing orders and verifying receipt
- Support the maintenance and development of internal tools
- Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure high-quality and timely execution of marketing programs
THE EXPERIENCE YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications or a related field
- Past work experience as a Marketing Coordinator or similar role
- Must have strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail
- Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels and best practices, including social, digital and email marketing
- Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills
- Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Occasional travel may be required
- Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience using WordPress, Adobe Suite, Google Analytics and social media scheduling software (think Hootsuite or Sprout Social) preferred
- Experience using marketing automation software is a huge plus, with even more bonus points going to those who have used Marketo
*Salary: $50k
