Your Mission:

Propeller is looking for an ambitious, solutions-oriented and metrics-driven Channel Marketing Manager to join our growing Channel Distribution team. Your mission is to develop and execute a strategy that drives top of funnel awareness and accelerates market access alongside our distribution partners and dealers.

You will be planning, implementing and overseeing marketing campaigns that drive quality leads through our distribution channel and reporting on the effectiveness/ROI of initiatives. You will be developing new programs and ideas to market to, with and through our dealer network and build marketing capacity into these partners to increase regional product awareness.

You'll identify local factors that may impact the priorities of our partners territories and use this knowledge to support our Director of Channel Distribution in making informed decisions on where our marketing efforts are focused. You will guide our channel partners to execute on traditional marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, email marketing, lead generation, and event marketing to expand market share and pursue aggressive growth targets.

You have experience or are excited by the idea of a high-impact role. You understand how to navigate the delicate balance between channel and direct customer relationships. You are data-driven and enjoy asking questions of data to help inform your next step. You have proven experience working collaboratively across Sales and Marketing, and you’re committed to establishing programs that ensure our partners and distribution channel are equipped with the materials, training, and support they need in order to succeed in selling. You are someone who flourishes when given responsibility and a sense of ownership.

You’re passionate about delivering value to the channel and you’re a self-starter with the ability to operate independently and produce results in a fast-paced, rapidly expanding environment. You understand the critical role channel partners play in a company’s customer acquisition and revenue growth. You are well organized, enjoy rolling up your sleeves, can wear any hat, and can pivot on a dime. You are a confident, well-spoken and engaging presenter who can obtain buy-in on any campaign or program–both internally and in external environments.
 

Your Responsibilities:

As part of the Channel Marketing Manager role, you will:

  • Plan, develop, execute and measure global multi-channel channel marketing programs (social, paid advertising, digital, events) including to-partner, through-partner and for-partner activities aligned to the organization’s channel priorities and sales objectives.
  • Establish quarterly OKRs (Objectives & Key Results) for Channel Marketing
  • Create processes and KPIs for analyzing, measuring and tracking the effectiveness of your campaigns ability to penetrate into markets.
  • Manage channel marketing communication messages across various mediums such as newsletters, webinars, events and product announcements.
  • Increase Propeller brand recognition while leveraging our partner brands (Trimble and Komatsu) alongside our channel distributors.
  • Manage, analyze and optimize top of the sales funnel and customer buying journey.
  • Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to align channel marketing with overarching marketing strategy.

 

Your Skills:

  • Highly ambitious, proactive, energetic and a self-starter.
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing, branding or advertising for SaaS.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills, and real-world examples of having a personal operating system that has enabled you to work smarter (not harder).
  • Capable of repurposing and converting content, as well as developing new content.
  • Deep familiarity with setting up tracking and analyzing results within a marketing automation platform like HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.
  • Past experience managing campaigns end-to-end.
  • Strong project/program management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work experience in a client or partner facing role.
  • A passion for marketing to, with and through channel partner organizations
  • Highly effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills - you are clear, articulate, engaging and persuasive.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaboratively to quickly build rapport with other departments to generate effective and efficient outcomes and measurable results.

Bonus points for personal experience with, or working knowledge of:

  • The construction, aggregate, mining and landfill industries
  • Remote sensing, photogrammetry, point clouds, ground control points, and/or surveying
  • UAVs and visualization platforms
  • Specific experience running channel distribution programs
  • Experience working in sales or business development

The salary range offered for this role is $70,000 - $90,000. This range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. Any salary offer that is extended will be based on job-related education, skills, and/or experience. The salary offer will not be based on a candidate’s salary history at other jobs, and by law, Propeller will not seek information about salary history, and candidates should not share such information with Propeller.
