Marketing Communications Specialist
We are seeking a talented and motivated Marketing Communications Specialist to join FareHarbor’s growing Marketing Team. This full-time, on-site position in our Denver office will develop polished, accurate, engaging written content for use in a wide variety of marketing initiatives. An ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, committed to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment, and excited about the activities and tourism industry. As the "voice of our organization,” this role will aim to support FareHarbor’s global marketing strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment across all channels.
Responsibilities:
- Work with multiple teams and stakeholders to originate and edit written content for a wide range of Marketing initiatives including emails (internal and external), websites, marketing collateral, promotional materials, advertisements, and more
- Collaborate with Digital Marketing Specialist to support blog content creation and curation
- Produce communications templates that adhere to FareHarbor brand guidelines
- Assist with the development and implementation of public relations efforts, such as press releases and news articles
- Manage contacts, distribution lists, and accounts for email marketing
- Work with Brand Designer to maintain consistent and appropriate brand character and tone throughout all messaging and communications
- Develop new and improve existing processes related to streamlining communications efforts for internal and external audiences
- Generate content and identify messaging opportunities for FareHarbor.com
Requirements:
- Degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Experience writing for a wide range of applications and audiences and associated best practices (social media, PR, websites, newsletters, blogs, etc.)
- Outstanding ability to think creatively and strategically about how to approach challenges and resolve roadblocks
- Desire to collaborate with a team but also to succeed autonomously and take initiative
- Big picture thinker with a meticulous eye for detail
- Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills
- Knowledge of current marketing trends and communications strategies
- Ability to present ideas and work in a clear, professional, and timely manner
Bonus if you have:
- Previous experience in digital marketing, advertising, or social media
- Background in public relations
- Graphic design, photography, or multimedia skills
