Marketing Campaigns Manager

We’re looking for a self-starting Marketing Campaigns Manager to be the next member of our awesome Marketing team. You would be an integral member of a small team responsible for promoting the next generation cloud-based directory services platform. What you’ll be doing:
- Your role will consist of 2 main areas of responsibility:
- Create, execute, project manage and analyze killer marketing campaigns for reaching new mid-market customer segments
- Build the JumpCloud community leveraging existing communities for our target company’s IT resource (IT Admin, Sys Admin, IT Manager), and eventually building our own JumpCloud community
As the JumpCloud Campaigns Manager, you will
- Define campaign strategy to drive top-of-funnel leads, incuding webinars
- Act as the quarterback on campaigns, defining the resources and marketing mix elements that need to be a part of your campaigns, managing the project plans and coordinating with all necessary resources, including ideation, delivery and measurement
- Work with cross-functional team members to ensure all deliverables are met and that all elements of the campaign are coodinated from a timing perspective to effect the greatest result
- Work with the content, SEO, website, paid search, email, and social teams to ensure the campaign is on message throughout
- Identify topics and vendors for webinars and one-off campaigns. Work with internal teams and external vendors to develop the content and deliver webinars. Embed, as deemed appropriate, in to larger campaigns.
- Identify campaign metrics, then measure on a regular cadence, and iterate based on those metrics
- Develop a loyal and vocal JumpCloud following via community development
- Identify the communities that IT Admins, Sys Admins and IT Managers rely on. Figure out ways to become an integral part of those communities and build JumpCloud credibility
- Work with the Marketing team to coordinate community development in light of other complementary marketing efforts, e.g., paid, webinars, social, etc.
- Work with internal and external technical subject matter experts to establish and build a presence in these communities via posts, webinars, social, contests and other creative ideas
- Manage 3rd party relationships and budget in relevent communities
- Analyze and potentially build a native JumpCloud community, based on available budget, the results you require and the metrics you define
- Use communities to drive customer loyalty, customer success and customer endorsements -- thus contributing to the JumpCloud bottom line
- Establish metrics to judge effectiveness, measure and iterate on community initiatives, failing fast
Skills and attributes we’d like you to have:
- Self-starter who’s hungry to explore, learn and keep trying
- Experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies & campaigns, preferably for software (SaaS) or other technical products, ideally in a small, growing organization
- Ability to develop strategies and implement programs to activate, engage, and retain multiple customer segments
- Analytical, metrics-oriented and results-driven. Ability to set up metrics to measure and iterate on initiatives...failing fast
- Naturally approach marketing from both a quantitative and qualitative perspective
- Proven track record of results
- Adept at communication and developing buy-in of proposed solutions across the organization
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, fluid environment
