As a Marketing Automation Manager, you will help drive the strategy and champion the execution of demand generation campaigns, with the ultimate goal of generating leads and revenue for the Carbonite and Webroot brands. You will be responsible for managing email campaigns, focused on nurturing leads, converting trial users, and generating leads through upsell/cross-sell activities. You will work cross-functionally with other teams to develop new marketing programs based on your observations and manage existing campaigns.

Objectives and Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the setup, maintenance, and measurement of automated and ad-hoc email campaigns
  • Day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of business segment objectives
  • Coordinate campaign deliverables with development and creative teams
  • Collaborate with campaign managers for each brand to ensure compliance with email marketing best practice and compliance with segmentation, GDPR, CCPA, CAN SPAM, and other legislation
  • Create email reporting dashboards analyzing campaign performance in order to provide actionable and strategic recommendations and deliver continuous improvements to the email program
  • Improve and recommend the target audience segments based on program objectives
  • Maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and apply them to the execution of our digital programs
  • Serve as an advisor to leadership to inform “what’s working, what’s not”

 

 

Qualifications

 

Success Factors and Experience

  • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Business or technical field strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in email marketing, campaign management or similar role
  • Proficiency with Marketo or similar MAPs required
  • Skills in HTML/CSS for email design and coding preferred
  • Experience with Google Analytics, HTML and SQL a plus
  • Highly analytical with ability to understand complex multivariate experiments and internal product data
  • High level of organization and personal initiative
  • Outstanding interpersonal and written communications skills
  • A track record of good judgment and decision-making in positions with significant responsibility
  • Highly autonomous and able to independently identify high value projects and drive their completion
  • Having and being able to articulate/defend an informed opinion on important topics
