The Marketing Automation Lead will work with the Marketing team to create and execute successful marketing campaigns that require use of marketing technology such as Marketo, Demandbase, On24, and Sendoso. In this role, the individual will own ad hoc reporting on campaign performance, relevant data capture and cleansing, agency partnerships, and implementing new marketing tech tools over time. The Marketing Automation Lead will manage the Marketing Operations task board and partner closely with the team to complete these tasks and support the Marketing team.
The Marketing Automation Lead will report directly to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations, and location is flexible with a preference for West Coast time zone.*
What you’ll do
- Marketing campaigns: Operate marketing tech and operations to create and execute successful marketing campaigns and support the Marketing function, using tools like Marketo, Salesforce, Demandbase, On24, and Sendoso
- Data capture & cleansing: Ensuring all relevant data is captured, inputted accurately, and sent to Salesforce
- Marketing operations: Manage the marketing operations task board and work with the agency team to complete tasks in an efficient and organized manner
- Reporting: Own ad hoc reporting on campaign performance in Marketo and email format, using metrics to make conclusions or recommendations on workflows
- Marketing tech guru: Serve as the go-to person for all marketing tech questions, implementation, and idealization and implementing new tools as they are introduced
- Process improvement and creation: Identify areas of inefficiency for process and technology optimization and propose scalable solutions or processes
- Agency Management: Act as the liaison between our external agency partners and internal stakeholders
What you’ll bring
- Experience: 3+ years of marketing operations experience
- Technical skills: Expertise in Salesforce and Marketo, experience with other marketing tech preferred (Demandbase, On24, Sendoso)
- Organization: Thinks and plans logically; Ability to thrive while maintaining multiple work streams in a detail-oriented manner
- Process-driven: Affinity for documenting, executing, and optimizing processes in a scalable way
- Innovative: Proactive and creative; willing to build systems not yet in place and continuously improve the way we do things
Colorado applicants only: The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $97,000. The total compensation package also includes benefits (as further detailed below) as well as unit-based compensation if applicable. Compensation for other locations may vary.*
