The Marketing Analyst tracks, reports, and analyzes sales funnel optimization and marketing program performance. They combine information from different CRM and marketing automation solutions, gathering complex data sets from multiple sources and merge them together to provide timely, accurate and meaningful reports and analysis. The Analyst supports fact-based decision making and helps define, plan, and execute key strategic priorities for Pax8. They act as a trusted adviser and business partner to foster alignment between Marketing, Finance, Product, and Sales to enable efficient sales execution, as well as provide market and customer-centric insights.  

Essential Responsibilities and Percentage of Time Spent (includes, but is not limited to): 

  • Work closely with marketing leaders and stakeholders to measure and analyze various marketing efforts, including digital and non-digital campaigns 
  • Enable account-based marketing (ABM), demand generation campaigns, execution, and analysis 
  • Support marketing automation, database marketing, lead nurturing and lead generation practices. Help Optimize the marketing technology stack, including Marketo, Google Analytics, etc. 
  • Delivering reports, dashboards, analytical support to Sales and Marketing, as well as conducting regular cadence reviews with key Marketing stakeholders. Prepare quarterly business reviews, monthly business reviews 
  • Conduct end-to-end analyses to drive insights for marketing stakeholders around campaign performance and impact to sales pipeline progression, expansion, and customer retention  
  • Analyze, measure, and optimize our marketing investment across performance marketing channels 
  • Create and maintain reports and presentations on marketing’s impact on bookings, ROI, lead delivery forecasting, campaign efficacy, and departmental OKR achievement 
  • Performing in-depth analysis of quantitative data derived from paid media traffic and online visitor behavior spanning across major digital advertising platforms 
  • Accurately forecast campaign performance outputs and establish target expectations 

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies: 

  • At least three (3) years of relevant. 
  • Advanced Excel, and experience with marketing automation & CRM tools 
  • Experience in digital or direct/database marketing  
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data, identify trends, analyze program effectiveness  
  • Strong understanding of workflow processes and systems within a marketing/sales cycle  
  • Self-starter, can work independently and proactively to resolve issues, take ownership for tool and process 
  • Passion for learning industry-leading marketing technologies, tactics, and best practices 
  • Well-organized and detail oriented Excellent written and oral communication skills 

Required Education & Certifications: 

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience 

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
