About the team:

We're looking for a motivated self-starter to help send operational communications to our customers. As a Market Operations Associate (Communications), you’ll carry out processes critical to maintaining Robinhood’s brokerage communication program. In addition to crafting customer communications, auditing current communications, and sending out daily mass communications, you’ll be expected to react efficiently and effectively to unprecedented situations that require swift but sound decision making and problem solving. You’ll partner with multiple teams within brokerage operations, customer service, compliance, content strategy, and product operations. This is an opportunity to join a critical pillar of Robinhood’s business.

What you’ll do day-to-day:

  • Work with cross functional business partners to send daily and ad-hoc proactive customer communications, including emails, inbox messages, and push notifications, pertaining to multiple lines of business for the Broker Dealer. 
  • Respond to anomalous situations and determine how to correspond with our customer-base with a communications plan that you can drive to execution; proactively identify ways to reduce risk.
  • Specify needs to develop and improve Robinhood's internal tools; identify pain points and communicate to product and engineering teams on a regular basis.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase quality and scalability.
  • Periodic reviews of all operational communications from the lens of a regulatory and financial product subject matter expert. 
  • Analyze results of communications and potential impacts to our customer service team.
  • Partner & cross train with the Communications with Public Compliance and Legal team on laws, regulations and issues impacting customer communications.

About you:

  • Active FINRA Series 7, 63, 24. 
  • 5-7 years of relevant working experience in a finance or fintech company.
  • Deep functional understanding of the securities industry on an operational level and outcomes for customers.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, superb written and oral communication skills.
  • High levels of empathy and integrity.
  • Resourceful and adaptive in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments; strong critical thinking & creative problem solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Bonus points:

  • Series 4
  • Understanding of and experience with crypto currencies
  • Familiarity with brokerage operations and consumer technology
  • Experience managing projects interfacing with technical and non-technical teams

Colorado Residents Only: In accordance with Colorado state law, Robinhood provides an estimate of the pay range associated with this role. In Colorado, the target salary for this position is $74,000 to $88,000. Pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience and certifications. Successful candidates will also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award of 5% to 10% of their earnings pursuant to Robinhood’s applicable bonus plan. Please note that this information is only provided publicly for candidates in Colorado, but the role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.

This job is following Robinhood’s Primarily Work from Home model which means the Robinhoodie can work primarily from home, but will need to live within a commutable distance of up to three hours of the Charlotte, NC, Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Lake Mary, FL, Menlo Park, CA, New York, NY, Remote, Seattle, WA, Tempe, AZ, Washington, DC, or Westlake, TX office(s). They will need to come into the office as-needed and semi-regularly to meet business continuity and regulatory requirements.
