Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Market Development

Cin7 is expanding very quickly with a mission to become the leading Inventory Management Software brand in the world, and we are looking for a motivated and driven Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Market Development to join our team.
As our Manager, Portfolio Strategy and Market Development at Cin7, you’ll develop plans across multiple product lines to support Cin7’s commercial goals and success in the market, engaging with customers, partners, analysts, and employees to develop and execute a strategy to grow combined market share. You’ll hold responsibility for understanding a market and domain for our ideal customer profile, assessing the opportunity and making decisions on where to build and partner.. If so, here’s what you’ll do in this role:
- Lead cross functional discovery teams to understand our customers and market segments - especially in new or adjacent geographies or segments.
- Help collect and maintain competitive intelligence information.
- Develop market development plans in conjunction with key stakeholders across the business - to maximize return on investment across the portfolio.
- Make strategic recommendations to expand our customer base and drive commercial success.
- Ensure product portfolio drives Cin7’s commercial outcomes.
- Work with partners to assess market and segment needs.
- Partner with internal teams, customers, and partners to develop joint product plans, gather feedback, manage dependencies, and ensure customer success.
- Work closely with product design to translate requirements and customer feedback into initial mock-ups and prototypes.
- Gather and transform business requirements and market needs into successful product strategy inputs (Design Thinking).
- Ensure alignment to developed plans and successful market entry
- Help lead go-to-market activities, working closely with marketing to ensure new products and features are released to market with high customer uptake.
- Collaborate on participation in company-wide initiatives.
Here’s what you’ll bring with you:
- Proven experience as a product portfolio manager, product manager or similar role (preferably global)
- Experience in Strategic Planning and market analysis
- Experience in business case development and risk assessments / mitigation
- Experience in partner management and commercial arrangements preferred
- Experience developing and tracking KPIs for successful outcomes
- Experience in eCommerce, logistics and/or order entry
- Experience in product lifecycle management
- Experience leading cross functional teams through discovery processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to analyze customer and team feedback to develop strategies and plans to deliver commercial market outcomes

Location:
Please note that this role is based in Denver, CO. Though we have some flexibility on timing for relocation, we are not considering permanently remote candidates at this time.

Compensation:
$110K-$120K + 10% annual bonus
