For such a crucial role you will proposes, develops, and implements marketing plans, policies and activities. Responsible for product promotion and work with other business partners to deliver business results. Analyzes the impact of key initiatives and recommend improvements.

This role develops department plans, including business or organization priorities. Manages resources on team and directs the team to meet organizational goals. The key contributor to strategic marketing programs, focusing on complex problems. Manages programs/initiatives, including online & offline marketing tactics that produce coordinated, efficient, and measurable campaigns designed to achieve business objectives. Ensure marketing plan is implemented and program is completed on time and within budget; recommend or redirect strategies as needed. Design, project manage and execute campaigns, communications and collateral as agreed upon with the Retail Group Leader.

You will contribute to the achievement of targets for customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth. Utilize project management skills to track and execute the development of each project from inception to completion within agreed upon timeframes, receiving approval from all appropriate parties. Collaborate with internal brand marketing & legal partners to leverage applicable resources in support of campaigns, communications, and materials. Collaborate with our media agencies to achieve efficiencies and effectiveness of our retail marketing budget. Work with sales team to create and coordinate programs, projects, and planograms focused on increasing brand awareness and sell-through in retail environments. One direct report based in Costa Rica

For this role you will need a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field, or equivalent experience. Five years of marketing experience. Experience developing, executing, and measuring strategic marketing plans, demand generation activities, campaign strategies, and associated tactics.

You will need a record of delivering results with limited resources; willingness to do what it takes to get the job done. Strong understanding of P&L and financial analysis. Communication, relationship-building and presentation skills to influence and persuade others towards an idea or goal. Strategic and creative thinker to develop concepts that deliver results. Organizational skills and attention to detail to fully execute plans. Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Excellent attention to detail and focus on reporting/communication

Annual base salary gross: $81,201-143,043. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of Western Union’s total compensation package for employees.
