The Manager of Marketing Operations is responsible for the success of the marketing software and operations function. This key marketing role leads marketing operations including all software used by marketing. This role has significant visibility including working across sales, sales ops and marketing. It includes coordination with marketing communications, program management and product marketing teams to manage the strategic marketing campaigns, all related software used to promote campaign content. The role includes deep dives into analytics that uncover opportunities for improvement. In this role, you will lead a team to drive high quality, efficient outbound email, lead scoring, database management, attribution reporting and other related marketing tech solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing operations team (~ 2 people)
    • Manage and grow the lead database with a focus on deliverability and complete coverage in our target accounts
    • Define strategy, select and implement marketing software (Marketo, WordStream, Bizible, Google Analytics, Power BI) including managing system migrations
    • Manage Marketo email marketing and Salesforce campaigns for webinars, event, content and other outbound messages
    • Perform A/B testing and monitor for continual improvement
    • Design build and maintain social media presence measuring brand awareness and demand gen
    • Define & document lead flow, lead scoring, opportunity funnel, conversion metrics and drive consistent delivery against goals
    • Work with the security team to ensure privacy and regulatory requirements are met across the markets we work in
    • Create and maintain best-in-class email procedures such as segmentation, communications limits, and subscription processes
  • Brainstorm new and creative demand gen strategies including testing and monitoring success
  • Working in tandem with other marketing leaders drive successful lead gen campaigns
  • Create and manage salesforce dashboards and Power BI for regular reporting
  • Define regular metrics and communication of lead goals including quarterly business review summaries
  • Evaluate emerging technologies
  • Manage budget of marketing operations and service providers

About You:

  • BS/MS degree in marketing or a related field, MBA preferred
  • Proven working experience is digital marketing, marketing operations or demand generation for B2B SaaS business
  • Proven management skills
  • Strong leadership/motivational skills with ability to manage aggressive goals and drive the team to meet those goals
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Experience in marketing technology platforms including:
    • MS office, all tools
    • Marketing automation platforms (e.g. Marketo/Hubspot/ Eloqua), prefer Marketo certification
    • Salesforce
    • Reporting & Analytics tool (Google Analytics, Marketo, Salesforce, Bizible, Power BI or similar)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willing to travel as needed
