Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced event and field marketer to work directly on the strategy and execution of BetterCloud hosted events and third-party programs. In this role, you'll work closely with the Sr Manager, Event Marketing and cross-functionally with our go-to-market teams to identify programs that drive awareness with key accounts and develop loyalty with customers. You’ll support the execution of set programs from conception through completion and continue to iterate on the events strategy to ensure contribution to pipeline goals and team OKRs. The ideal candidate has experience in all aspects of event management, a strong attention to detail, and can thrive in partnering with the entire GTM organization.
What you’ll do
- Support and execute overall event logistics, sponsorships, production, budget tracking, and internal alignment on goals for BetterCloud hosted events and third-party programs.
- Work closely with GTM teams to understand specific priorities and shape programs that reach our ICP as well as contribute to pipeline and opportunity creation.
- Support the development and implementation of our annual conference, Altitude, the event for SaaSOps professionals. Oversee defined workstreams and enable internal stakeholders to drive towards company wide goals and deadlines.
- Collaborate with relevant teams such as; Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Legal to successfully deliver in both live and virtual environments.
- Partner with stakeholders on speaker selection, agenda creation and presentation creation and management for necessary programs.
- Conduct pre event briefs, internal enablements, post event learnings, including but not limited to attendee surveys, analytics, and lessons learned
- Work closely with Marketing Operations to summarize ROI, key learnings and business impact(s) of events and activations, as well as create dashboards/reports to share event progress for stakeholders
About you
- 3-4 years of experience supporting and executing proprietary and third party programs ideally for SaaS-based solutions offered through B2B sales-led environments.
- Team player and strong cross-functional collaborator who knows how to drive success working with demand generation, product marketing, sales, partners and post-sales teams.
- Experience partnering and aligning with internal sales teams; knows what it means to be a partner and an advocate.
- Thrives in an ever-changing environment with competing priorities; exceptional project management skills with experience gaining team consensus and driving deliverables.
- Equal parts creative thinker and result-driven
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with event management tools such as Bizzabo, Hopin, Hublio, etc.
- Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce and other MarTech a plus.
- Willingness to travel to events onsite when needed.
