Local Marketing Coordinator (LOCALACT)

Local Marketing Coordinator | LOCALACT
Reports to V.P. of Marketing
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Support execution of marketing and communications plan for LOCALACT product awareness, franchisee growth and retention. Responsibilities include ongoing development of written copy, content, email marketing, sales collateral materials and more. In addition, this role will oversee coordination of client conferences, speaking engagements, and other events focused on LOCALACT revenue growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing
- Provide support and assistance in planning, developing, producing, and delivering LOCALACT marketing and communications materials
- Manage development, production, and distribution of LOCALACT promotional and collateral materials and local sales and retention materials
- Participate in budget development and support budget management
- Use independent judgment to execute marketing and communications plan
- Prepare written materials including some marketing copy, email campaign materials, business communications, reports, and presentations
- Responsible for ensuring accuracy in information and proofreading
- Analyze marketing and communications programs and make recommendations to adjust strategy and tactics to increase effectiveness
Events
- Conduct research and organize appropriate team members and resources to execute all aspects client conferences
- Coordinate on-site arrangements for all events: Assist with negotiations for event space contracts, arrange food and beverage, order supplies and audiovisual equipment, shipping and logistics
- Serve as primary point of contact and execution with 3rd party vendors on event-related matters such as logistics and technology requirements
- Prepare event collateral materials, conference swag packages for approval
- Prepare proposals for conference swag and giveaways to include projected expenses for approval
- Assist with preparing conference budgets and be responsible for completing expense and ROI reports for each event
- Keep track of event expenses including invoicing, receipts and other documents
- Propose new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process
Administrative Support
- Complete special projects as assigned by V.P. of Marketing and/or Marketing Manager
- Other general duties as determined by V.P. of Marketing or in conjunction with Marketing Manager
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education –Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with background in marketing and communications
- 3+ years’ experience in digital marketing, content marketing or related field
- Proficiency: in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Office 365
- Digital expertise in Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Additional expertise: Adobe Creative Suite, Email Marketing
- Excellent organizational and office skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound decision-making ability
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, customers, and the general public

Expected Salary Range: $45,000 to $55,000 annually depending on experience.
