The Job
We are looking for a Jr. Public Relations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be involved in every stage of the booking process from onboarding calls with prospective clients, to vetting, pitching, and booking podcasts. The ideal candidate is an adept writer with experience in communications who brings innovation and organization to the role. Previous experience in the startup industry will set you apart. This is a FT position located in Denver, CO.
What You’ll Do:
- Find, qualify, and pitch podcasts
- Book and schedule interviews
- Maintain timely and concise communication with clients
- Effectively manage client relationships
- Ensure smooth booking process
- Liaison between guests and hosts for interviews
What You Bring:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; must be articulate and professional in both written and verbal forms
- An eye for detail and self-direction
- Understanding of and passion for podcasts from a technical, analytical, and strategic point of view, as well as subjective point of view
- Effective and creative problem solver
- Ability to thrive in an evolving and fast-paced environment, prioritizing and handling multiple projects concurrently
- A keen ability to think critically
- A high tolerance for puns
Bachelor Degree and former campaign experience preferred but not required.
This is a full-time position with a $41,000 - $50,000 salary DOE. We will be accepting applications until 2/20/23.
