Head of Global Brand Marketing

You will be responsible for global consumer efforts to build brand and marketing communication strategies and programming that acquires and engages customers across all levels of the funnel. Define and optimize marketing investments and work with our regions and Go To Market Digital team to maximize efficiency and effectiveness to deliver our revenue plan through retail and digital marketing support. We'll be looking to you to:
Lead the evolution of our marketing technology to ensure complete visibility into customer engagement across our brand and websites.
Drive the performance marketing practice at Western Union, ensuring we achieve our marketing efficiency and effectiveness goals; own the relationship with our top media partners, including Google and Facebook, along with our media agency.
Design and Develop consumer brand strategy, positioning, architecture, and visual identity management across consumer products and channels.
Management of in-house design studio and outside agencies, and the related creative development
Governance of brand and creative standards and oversight of all customer-facing content; development of campaign creative platforms and executions for use by marketers
Develop and evolve our marketing communications strategy and best practices and toolkits to improve customer acquisition
Accountability for marketing investment and management of marketing budgets
Delivery and management of all consumer research
Managing a team of six direct reports and seventy indirects
For such a pivotal role, you'll ideally have:
- Experience working with content management systems and industry-leading AdTech tools to drive a holistic understanding of our customer and prospect behavior
- Marketing, creative, and commercial leadership roles
- Strategy development and execution
- Experience in business transformation and change management
- International marketing experience
- Strong history of people leadership
- Proven experience Influencing and collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders; leadership roles in a matrix organization a plus
- Financial services and payment experience a plus
- 15+ years in strategic marketing roles
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred

Overall, on-target earnings $ 324,000.00- $450,000. This amount includes base salary $180,000 - $250, 000.and both short-term (x% of base pay) and long-term (x% of base pay) incentives. The overall earnings represent the anticipated low and high end of the Western Union compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and will be based on several factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
