Hardware Partner Managers have the rare opportunity to build a long-lasting relationship with strategic hardware partners and make sure they can take full advantage of Zoom's suite of products and platform. You possess strong relationship-building skills and are apt to see mutually beneficial opportunities with partners in order to best represent Zoom users, products and platform.
The Hardware Partnerships team was formed with the purpose of bringing the best of Zoom's software and partner's hardware to our users. The team is responsible for managing the partnerships with hardware vendors worldwide. The hardware is used with Zoom meeting, chat, phone, rooms, webinar, event, whiteboard, SDK, service, and platform.
As the Hardware Partnership Manager, you will develop relationships with hardware vendors and lead Zoom's product success by driving partner branded hardware on Zoom. You will manage roadmap alignment, joint development, product launches, and GTM success. Work with Zoom and partners’ cross-functional teams including product, engineering, marketing, and support to drive a successful joint product launch.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in computer, communication, audio or video, or engineering
8 years of relevant experience with computer, unified communication, or smart devices in product management, engineering, technical marketing, architecture, partnership, system integration, interoperability, or business development
In depth knowledge of device integration with cloud services in a fast-paced industry
Good technical know-how and hands-on capability, can effectively communicate and work with technical and GTM (go to market) cross functional teams
Demonstrate capability of managing and growing relationships with strategic partners
Ability to identify root cause and solutions for complex problems, execute the plan
Relationship and segment owner for designated hardware segments and partners
Ensure that Zoom remains top of mind for the hardware vendors with a strong presence in the product portfolio
Create and manage key hardware initiatives by partnering with leading players’ cross-functional team in roadmap, business planning, product definition, joint development, GTM, product life cycle management, and business review
Identify critical paths, potential roadblocks, customer beta and field trials of new joint products
Define success factors and track new product launch
