What will you be doing?
Funding Circle is seeking a driven and innovative Growth Marketing Manager in Denver, you will be responsible for the US marketing and blog pages of fundingcircle.com You’ll serve as the web project manager to make sure regular updates run smoothly, on-schedule, and within scope. You’ll work closely with the design team, content team, web developers and the marketing channel managers. You’ll be responsible for web updates, conversion rate optimization, landing pages, technical SEO, and the long-term web strategy.
As the Growth Marketing Manager
- You are responsible for the Funding Circle marketing website. You drive the web user experience and business growth. This includes: strategy, site navigation, and updates, while working closely with designers and web developers
- Own Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): We believe there should be a test on our top pages all the time, and you’ll build and execute against an a/b testing roadmap
- Manage Analytics: Report and monitor web metrics via Google Analytics and Amplitude and execute on the opportunities you find in the numbers
- Guide Search Engine Optimization (SEO): Work with our agency to further optimize on page and technical SEO
- Partner closely with internal teams, including design, content marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, and channel managers to regularly update and improve fundingcircle.com/us/ and it’s resource center
- Direct Vendor and agency management: Manage our web tools including a/b testing and personalization tools, analytics tools, and web development agency
- Steward the Brand: Help ensure the website reflects our brand, voice, positioning, and messaging best practices

This role requires someone who's an owner, analytical, detail oriented and thrives in a data and result driven environment. You are always curious about the why and always strive to find the next opportunity to optimize the customer experience. You enjoy diving into data to analyze performance just as much as you enjoy working with our creative team or agencies to design new creative tests. The successful candidate will actively manage performance and work cross functionally to increase customer acquisition and drive return on investment to meet business objectives. This includes tracking performance and results, report on monthly critical metrics to stakeholders, and devising test plans.
- 3+ years Growth Marketing experience, with a deep understanding of web project management, analytics, and conversion rate optimization
- Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge and have partnered with web developers
- Experience with owning web analytics (Google Analytics), A/B testing (VWO, Optimizely, Adobe T&T, etc)
- Experience scoping design and development resources to deliver on web projects
- Excited to work with various teams at Funding Circle to improve our marketing website’s performance, including internal and external technical teams
- Experience with b2b marketing, financial services, SaaS, or subscription products
Bonus
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (Domo, Looker, Tableau, etc)
- Experience with tag management tools (Google Tag Manager, etc)
- Familiarity and experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics, Hotjar, Amplitude and Marketo
