Summary
Global Marketing Automation Manager function is critical to the overall success of the Marketing team. Partnering with the sales and services organization, the Global Marketing Automation Manager develops the strategy for and optimizes the communication journey from brand awareness and lead acquisition to customer engagement. This role is responsible for automating electronic communication, maintaining compliance with global web tracking and email regulations, and administering the handoff and disposition of marketing generated leads via lead scoring logic and tracking all marketing interactions.
Responsibilities
- Leads global email marketing strategy, planning, and campaign execution, including: emails, landing pages, forms, automated programs, dynamic content, design, testing, and analysis
- Maintains and manages automation system processes, ensuring optimal data quality, lead flows, campaign and activity tracking, sales enablement, and data integrity
- Oversees audience segmentation within the automation and CRM systems to align with strategic organizational priorities and sales initiatives, including personas and lifecycle stages (add around nurture strategy and drip campaigns)
- Works with internal stakeholders (i.e. sales, marketing, web development, services), to define and prioritize marketing automation, and tracking objectives
- Manages best practices for global privacy and email compliance, including GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL and regional email laws
- Reports on automation and program performance including : email, nurture, drop-off, segmentation, and other key performance metrics
- Proactively reviews best practices, trends, and competitive activity; recommends and implements scalable changes to the marketing automation platform
- Manages cross-functional, global, and 3rd party relationships
- Creates scalable solutions and processes for continued global expansion into new territories and markets, including multi-lingual campaigns and initiatives
What You'll Need
Education
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; comfortable communicating across all levels of an organization
- Proven track record of supporting successful demand generation programs with experience in marketing databases, segmentation, email execution and lead processes
- Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners, advising on all levels of the organization
- Organized and able to meet demands across a global organization
- Prevalent sense of customer service
- 4+ years marketing automation and operations experience
- Expert hands-on Marketo experience required
- 4+ years experience with SalesForce required
- Strong analytics skills, including ability to translate data to actionable steps for optimization
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Global and localization experience required
- HTML knowledge preferred
- Minimal travel required
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
Base Pay Range in Colorado: $103,000 - $134,000
Discretionary bonus typically paid annually
Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
401 (k) match
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
