Job Description

The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing account-based (ABM) and broader regional marketing programs that increase awareness, generate new prospects, and advance existing sales opportunities for Vendavo. The field marketing manager will act as the liaison between regional sales teams and the global Programs and Product Marketing teams in the development and execution of integrated campaigns. He/she will develop marketing plans consisting of multi-touch, cross-channel programs into the total addressable market of prospects and existing customers, including both inbound and outbound tactics that extend the Global Program team strategy to local adaptations and optimization, driving core KPIs for new business as well as cross-sell/upsell opportunities. 

The Opportunity: As Field Marketing Manager, you’ll be a brand ambassador and campaign producer, as an extension of the Global Marketing Programs Team to ensure consistent delivery of the Vendavo brand experience for internal and external partners, customers and prospects. You’ll collaborate with the content generation team on topics and personas that are regionally relevant, and assist in production where necessary of supporting campaign assets.

  • Act as liaison between Sales teams and Global Marketing to support lead qualification and sales enablement initiatives across prospect and customer audiences, and provide updates and education around planned marketing activities 
  • Develop comprehensive ABM plans in alignment with strategic accounts by region.
  • Extend and execute Global Marketing Program strategy, using MAP and CRM for list segmentation, data capture, scheduling and deployment, and forecast, measure, analyze and report on engagement/conversion of programs 
  • Ensure brand consistency across channels and tactics, including but not limited to email campaigns, social media marketing, website optimization, SEM, events, targeted display, and video content production in partnership Global Marketing Programs team
  • Investigate and make recommendations for new audience acquisition & enrichment channels and tools such as memberships, publications, media networks, trade organizations, affiliates, partners, tech stack, etc. 
  • Coordinate content with Product Marketing, and act as liaison between contributors and Product Marketing to produce assets from outline, to draft, to distribution and syndication 
  • Support regional account-based selling and marketing campaigns with database tactics, engagement research & reporting, target account/contact segmentation, and execution 
  • Support regional SDR and telemarketing processes, in the form of asset management, campaign sprints, solution training coordination, KPI tracking, and active lead routing 
  • Build the strategy by market, that drives to short- and long-term business and growth objectives in collaboration with regional sales leaders 
  • Build programs that create a sense of shared community and affinity for our brand among existing customers and partners 
  • Develop innovative integrated digital campaigns across ad tech, web, and email as well as scaled account-based strategies in the region 
  • Deliver Vendavo events (owned, sponsored, and 3rd Party) from contract through completion, ensuring superb brand experience for internal teams and external-facing customers and prospects via branding, event flow, vendor management, content alignment, staff/resource allocation, lead capture, pre- and post-event communications (internal and external), and ROI/engagement reporting 
  • Become an expert on our customers and prospects in order to identify sponsorship and event marketing opportunities as our business evolves 
  • Organize and host online and in-person events that create net-new sales opportunities, accelerate existing ones and deepen customer relationships 
  • Align events strategy to an integrated marketing calendar, including touchpoints with paid media, social marketing, and major launch announcements 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in a B2B SaaS demand / ABM marketing role 
  • Advanced experience with Marketo and other marketing automation systems
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on event seasonality 
  • Experience delivering sophisticated campaign execution such as account-based marketing, persona-based marketing and integrated campaigns 
  • A track record of delivering exceptional events on time and on budget with a creative, professional approach 
  • Background in Enterprise Marketing with experience of delivering campaigns into C-Level and Executive audiences. 
  • Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams to meet business objectives while fostering strong working relationships 
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation skills; must love to create great campaigns 
  • Objectivity and openness to others' views and continuously builds a positive team spirit 
  • Self-starter who truly enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative and high-growth technology environment 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, related field, or equivalent experience 
  • Ability to travel up to 20% based on event seasonality
