We currently have hundreds of websites under management (and more launching every month). We’ve been growing a new arm of our business focusing on driving revenue and marketing results for these clients after their new websites are launched––and we’re in need of an experienced, reliable and fun social advertising pro to join our growing Denver-based marketing team. This is a full-time opportunity (up to 40 hours per week) starting as a 90-day contract-to-perm role.

Overview of role

The Facebook Specialist on our marketing team will help our clients accelerate their businesses through social ad campaigns designed to increase website visitors, drive conversions, and sell their products. You will be paired with an Account Manager who will lead your team in strategy, but who will support you in your quest to execute killer ad campaigns for 4-6 of our retainer clients that drive client success.

Our Facebook Specialist is crucial to our growth as an agency, and we need this key player to be ready to hit the ground running with passion and flexibility.

Necessary skills

  • You must feel at home in the Facebook Ads Manager and feel 100% confident in all that the tool can do. You follow trends and news relating to the tools and feel comfortable pitching new ideas to your clients and being the resident Facebook pro. You might even have experience and a desire to explore other social ad tools.
  • You will build and deploy Facebook ad sets from start to finish. You are looking to own social campaigns from brainstorming to launch and analysis.
  • You love independence and are certain you can deliver quality work without anyone watching over your shoulder. You take diligent notes in meetings and have excellent time management. You don’t need to be reminded of deliverables––you follow through and do what you say you will do.
  • You are comfortable joining weekly touch-base meetings with clients and don’t shy away from lively conversations and active dialogue. You are comfortable in a client-facing role.
  • You are very comfortable with technology lingo and have some graphic design knowledge. You can resize your own images, understand the limitations of social graphics, and can produce short videos if taught how to use a tool (like Ripl.)
  • You have intermediate copywriting skills and a good eye for detail when it comes to typos or errors in the social ads you’re executing. You catch misspellings before the ad hits the newsfeed.
  • You have an understanding of market research, finding a stellar audience for you ads, and using the demographics tools in Facebook to get your clients’ brands in front of the people who will be the right fit for our products.
  • Notice that we said nothing about a degree or a certain number of years of experience? You bet. You can deliver a short portfolio of work showcasing results for projects you’ve been a part of (or preferably led.) Perhaps you have a complementary degree, but we’re really focused on your proven success to make your application stand out.

What we offer:

  • $25-35/hour, depending on experience and fit for the role
  • For a permanent offer, salary range is $40-55k/year, depending again on experience and fit for the role.
