As an Events, Partnerships, & Brand Experience Specialist, you will be part of a select team focused on planning, organizing, and tracking outcomes for elite events globally. You will work with multiple groups across Zayo to ensure proper planning and execution of events.
Responsibilities
Devise marketing campaigns with the goal of increasing product awareness and increasing funnel development in specific geography.
Work closely with marketing and sales executive teams to create programs
Organize and execute marketing and sales programs.
Organize and attend events, tradeshows, etc
Engage with sales closely to ensure campaign adoption
Ensure all data is relevant for all campaigns with in SalesForce
Manage Key Contact data for all events.
Understand market trends
Determine importance/priority of events based on company pillars and business initiatives
Vet events based on possible ROI and opportunities
Track and capture leads for Sales to engage throughout the entire event process
Manage and create budgets
Negotiate with multiple vendors to ensure best costs
Track and report on campaign success and progression.
Support all company initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and information source for company
Act as the point person for outside and partner sales teams within geography
Primary "go to" person responsible for the scheduling, booking, and coordination of locally based events.
Experience of working within a demanding fast-paced environment to very high standards.
Generate leads from customer referrals.
Book appointments with various decision makers at all levels.
Book events into various venues and agencies.
Acting as a liaison between client and customer - follow up with contact and maintain the relationship.
New business development.
Provide customer service for clients employees.
Marketing strategies and technique.
Run events at various venues.

Qualifications
Strong negotiation skills
Energetic and team-oriented.
Some College or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
Self-motivated, punctual, and well organized. Must be detail oriented.
Outstanding oral and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Willing to travel up to 30%
3+ years of event marketing experience
