The Opportunity
We are looking for a Strategic Engagement Content Manager to join our Engagement Value team. We offer competitive salaries, great benefits, and a high-energy environment with lots of room for personal and professional growth.
This role is responsible for owning Value based content for the Value Consulting team as well as serving as a value selling content ambassador for the rest of our pre and post-sales Marketo organization.
Core Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first line of editorial oversight for the Value Consulting Team - ensuring quality and consistency of brand voice across any and all published content, including Workshop Content, Marketing Maturity Frameworks, and other key assets
- Develop and manage the suite of Content leveraged by Value Consulting team in direct high touch engagements as well as value selling content available for self-service by Sales & Success teams.
- Work cross-functionally in partnership with Director of Content & Portfolio Marketing, Competitive, Customer Marketing, Professional Services and Enablement teams.
- Help define, research, and create core content assets, including Marketo owned research, thought leadership, and best practice guides
- Manage key content projects with design, subject matter experts, and executive stakeholders to ensure that high-quality assets are developed on time and on budget
- Maintain an understanding of content assets and performance, conducting regular audits to ensure that Marketo content is fresh and relevant
- Keep current with the marketing / marketing technology industry, including influencers and trends
- Create content, programs, and processes for Content and Speakers at Engagement Briefing Centers
- Ability to serve as certified speaker on key content pieces at Workshops and Engagement Briefing Center
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of professional marketing experience in consulting, business development or strategic sales support
- Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills with a drive for accuracy and detail
- Ability to manage detailed projects with tight timelines
- Capable of managing teams and contributors indirectly and working cross-functionally
- High-energy, self-directed and team oriented
- Well versed in multi-channel digital marketing, content marketing, social marketing, marketing automation, and related subject areas.
- Successful track record of delivering digital programs, products and services
- Extensive experience working with creative and/or technical development of web-based solutions, technology and emerging media
- Experience with Marketo or competitive product is a plus
