About the Role
We are looking for a talented and motivated Email Marketing Professional to join FareHarbor’s growing Client Engagement and Marketing team. An ideal candidate is process-obsessed, committed to delivering high-quality work on schedule, and is unapologetically excited about everything email marketing. We are interested in thoughtful, driven individuals who take pride in their work and are excited about the activities and tourism industry.
This is a hands-on role and the chosen candidate will own FareHarbor’s end-to-end email marketing strategy, executing best in class email marketing experiences for a wide variety of campaign types. You will be the face of email marketing at FareHarbor! A collaborative, flexible person who likes to work independently as well as with a team in a fast-paced environment will be most successful in this role.
What you’ll do here:
- Coordinate and execute strategic email marketing plans and programs that align with company and team goals: nurture client self service and self growth, promote brand recognition and affinity, drive awareness and use of FareHarbor products and services through email touchpoints
- Define the objectives and success metrics of each email campaign alongside key stakeholders from Product, the CX org, and more
- Proactively identify new project opportunities, including drip campaigns, that allow the CEMKT team to have the most organizational impact at scale
- Build and edit email campaigns using a visual editor and/or HTML, ensuring quality of all outbound campaigns, from copy to design
- Perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns and flows
- Responsible for planning the email marketing calendar each month/quarter
- Own and maintain company contact lists including those within our email management software, CRM, and the FareHarbor Product
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution, as required
- Responsible for email marketing reporting and analysis
- Provide recommendations for marketing optimizations to enhance performance of marketing emails
- Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes
- Identify data and reporting needs and gaps and work to find solutions to build meaningful reporting structures
- Stay up to date with email marketing industry benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends and opportunities for marketing optimizations, including but not limited to coding, design, and testing of email campaigns
- Communicate and work closely with the internal CEMKT and other CX teams to create, localize and adapt global email initiatives towards regional needs
- Provide clear direction and campaign vision to the Creative team to allow them to help bring campaigns to life
- Serve as the email marketing point person and source of knowledge for internal and external email communication requests
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of email marketing experience or a combination of email marketing, digital marketing, or agency experience
- B.A. in Marketing or related field preferred
- Demonstrated email marketing and content creation experience in a professional environment
- Working knowledge of email marketing platforms and building email templates from scratch in both a visual editor and in HTML
- Strong understanding of email campaign fundamentals such as list segmentation, campaign set-up, and campaign performance analysis
- Intermediate to advanced analytical skills and an innate aptitude for using data to drive decision making to iterate on future campaigns; includes experience working with Google Analytics in a professional setting
- Out-of-the-box thinking and ability to intelligently push the bounds of the way we engage clients through email marketing
- Extremely process and detail oriented, with the ability and enthusiasm to tackle multiple campaigns in different lifecycle phases, while working cross-functionally with other internal and external teams on a daily basis
- High attention to detail with above average organizational, planning, and time management skills
- Enthusiastic, passionate individual excited to be a part of a growing team

Salary Range: $55,440 - $76,200, plus 10% bonus potential
