Email Marketing Manager

The Email Marketing Manager for Wowza is a strategically important role on the Marketing team. You'll work cross-functionally by partnering closely with our marketing, product, customer success and business operations teams to help Wowza map and segment the end-to-end customer journey and create highly effective email nurture programs that connect with prospects and customers to generate revenue growth and product adoption.

You're also a curious and analytical thinker who enjoys hypothesizing and running careful A/B tests for continuous improvement. What You'll Do
- Create and execute an email marketing campaign strategy and program for automated and manual nurturing sequences targeting prospects and customers
- Own a product revenue growth target and be accountable for aligned OKRs
- Work cross-functionally to map the end-to-end customer journey from the trial to the sale and beyond and run email nurturing experiments intended to continuously improve and create a delightful customer experience that drives product adoption
- Prepare campaign summary reports for the business with qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Build, launch and maintain targeted and multi-part demand generation email nurture sequences in HubSpot
- Develop and execute an A/B experiment testing strategy to achieve more effective email subject lines, copy, layout and imagery and present actionable program concepts and measurable outcomes to internal stakeholders
- Apply PLG best practices for audience segmentation, messaging and CTAs
- Ensure a clear and consistent tone of voice, grammar and branding for all campaigns
- Work cross-functionally to build and maintain organized, segmented prospect and customer lists in HubSpot
- Maintain a calendar of active campaigns for the marketing team and organization
- Collaborate with our go-to-market team to design HubSpot email sequences for the sales team for follow-up on marketing leads
- Proactively seek intel from marketing, customer support and sales to understand customer needs, use cases, pain points that can improve messaging effectiveness
- Measure the effectiveness and outcomes of all email marketing initiatives
- Design all email marketing programs according to user preferences and in compliance with applicable industry privacy, opt-in and consent laws
- Learn the product and platform and review all messaging with the marketing and product teams to ensure email communication messages are differentiated and achieve product-market fit
About You
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, technical field, or equivalent work experience. MBA a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and confidence to pick up and lead new projects
- Must demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated, metrics-driven success as an email marketer in a B2B product-led growth (PLG) environment. SaaS and/or video technology experience also a plus.
- Experience with email marketing testing methodology and driving results through experimentation and analysis
- Experience using HubSpot or similar leading marketing automation tool (Marketo, Pardot, etc.) for setting up email marketing nurtures and sequences
- Expertise running effective email marketing programs targeted at developers
- Storyteller who can engage audiences and generate measurable outcomes
- Proactive with ability to work independently and make recommendations
- Organized, methodical operator with proven skills running A/B testing programs
- Self-starter who is comfortable being accountable for growing product-line revenue
- Engaged team player and collaborator with strong inter-personal skills and capable of driving alignment cross-functionally to execute goals

Benefits
Salary: $90,000-$114,000
- Bonus Eligible
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of our salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on a range of factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and competencies. The salary is one component of our total compensation package for employees.
