Job Summary:

 

Regis University's Admission Marketing team is seeking an Email Developer to help maintain, build and manage our portfolio of email nurturing campaigns and landing page assets. The ideal candidate possesses superior attention to detail and advanced organization and time management skills. Our next email developer is committed to mobile-first design and continuously enhancing user experience.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

 

• Collaborate with project managers, graphic designers and other stakeholders to create mobile responsive emails and landing pages.

• Troubleshoot rendering errors and adjust problematic code as needed.

• Conduct quality assurance testing for various device types and email accounts using email testing software.

• Conduct quality assurance testing to ensure accessibility compliance.

• Stay up to date on current trends and practices relevant to email development field.

• Communicate level of effort for common email development tasks.

• Complete projects on time, meeting deadlines established with team.

• Provide counsel about email production guidelines, standards and procedures, as well as suggestions to optimize email performance.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other team members and cross-functional teams.

• Provide ad hoc reporting.

• Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline or equivalent amount of relevant experience including design development and testing (must explain relevancy of experience).

• 2+ years of hands-on experience creating HTML emails.

• Advanced understanding of web development tools and technologies such as CSS , Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Javascript.

• Experience with Dreamweaver and/or other HTML authoring tools.

• Experience developing emails with dynamic content.

• Experience performing extensive testing for rendering and accessibility compliance.

• Experience developing mobile responsive emails and landing pages.

• Experience integrating multimedia (video, audio, animation) into landing pages

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to interact effectively with various people and departments in collaborative settings.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and precision in work.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Eloqua experience preferred.

• Strong proficiency JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJs and experience with scripting languages like ASP and PHP .

• Experience with Node JavaScript and Express templating frameworks.

• Experience working on teams that leverage project manage methodologies.

• CRM and form integration experience.

• Experience with relational databases.
