Summary: Do you want to be part of a highly skilled and collaborative marketing team in an educational nonprofit that helps shape confident communicators and leaders across the globe? We are looking for someone who can knows and loves all things email marketing. As the Email Marketing Specialist, you will manage the organization's email communications and help build the strategy to reach members and nonmembers alike. You will be responsible for sending all of the organization's emails, including creating segmented lists via Microsoft Excel, maintaining the communications calendar, monitoring and reporting on analytics, coordinating the approval process, and using email best practices.   • Coordinate and execute email marketing plans and manage the communications calendar.
  • Manage email requests from company stakeholders and ensure they go through the proper approval and testing process.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Marketing and Communications Department to optimize content, and ensure communications adhere to email standards, best practices, and are GDPR compliant.
  • Track, monitor, and report on all email analytics—open rates, click through, delivery, bounce, unsubscribes, and more.
  • Modify and create HTML messages with pre-built templates.
  • Create accurate lists and segments to deploy emails using Microsoft Excel and email marketing software.
  • Proofread and test all elements of emails prior to deployment.
  • Coordinate monthly newsletter from content gathering to sending.
  • Provide support to the team on other marketing campaigns as needed.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience with email management platforms (preferably Adestra)
  • Email marketing and GDPR best practices
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Working Knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain standards and meet quality assurance measurements

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

This position pays $59,883.20/year, or $28.79/hour. This position is non-exempt (hourly). This role will be working from home while our office is closed due to COVID-19. It will later be a hybrid working model with some days in our office located at 9127 S. Jamaica St. Englewood, CO 80112. Work authorization required. Join Toastmasters!
