E-Mail and Social Media Marketing Specialist
Wowza is seeking a results-oriented email and social media marketing specialist. Reporting to the Senior Content Manager, you will be required to oversee all aspects of Wowza's email marketing and social media efforts - including developing and implementing cross-platform campaigns, amplifying Wowza's content and brand, segmentation, content creation, project management, and identifying opportunities to boost engagement. You will also be required to collaborate with coworkers across departments to gain internal buy-in and ensure high-quality email sends and social posts.
Responsibilities:
- Work in Wowza's marketing automation software, HubSpot, to optimize all workflows, campaigns, and the design of email communications
- Manage and oversee social media content across Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Instagram
- Create, own, and drive both strategy and tactical execution of company's email marketing programs with the focus of moving prospects through the funnel, upselling current customers, or providing general information
- Create and continually optimize compelling HTML emails, landing pages, and forms with persuasive copy and imagery (collaborating with graphic designers) that is free from mistakes
- Manage audiences to optimize engagement through segmentation, personalization, frequency, other email best practices
- Track metrics across email and social properties and use insight to improve engagement, awareness, and conversions
- Bring an analytical approach to marketing automation. Set targets for campaigns, conduct A/B tests, and report on and communicate results to stakeholders
- Conducting market research to better comprehend prevailing consumer behaviors
- Review and optimize former campaigns to ascertain areas of strength and weakness, while using insights to inform subsequent outputs.
- Conceptualizing marketing campaigns that speak directly to the pain points of existing and prospective clientele.
