Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) Operations Analyst will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of Sling TV DAI Operations with our Programming partners, Media Sales, Product, and Engineering teams. DAI is an exciting, growing technology which allows for more targeted advertising capabilities resulting in more efficient advertising. DAI has revolutionized advertising within the media and pay-tv industry. As part of this team, you’ll be joining the industry leader in live dynamic ad insertion and will help to define industry standards. Sling TV takes pride in being at the forefront of this technological and advertising evolution.
Primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Oversee DAI integration on Sling TV and partner platforms (i.e. ESPN, NBC)
- Maximize available inventory for our Media Sales team
- Establish, streamline, and manage operational processes to increase DAI efficiency
- Assist in all DAI projects and future initiatives
- Work with appropriate teams to develop product strategies that solve customer and business problems.
- Partner Management as you liaison with Programming partners on integrations, troubleshooting, and general questions
- Assist in managing relationships with external and internal parties
- Prioritization and coordination of activities with Media Sales and Engineering teams
- Assisting in testing current and new integrations
- Creating and presenting reports and status updates to all levels, including Executive leadership
- Assist in writing-up and managing development requirements with the Engineering team for any new DAI features
- Build alignment to the product team vision throughout the organization using presentations and roadmaps, and align the roadmap to strategic initiatives and metrics in collaboration with internal business partners.
- Off-hours availability (minimal) for incident management in the event of customer-impacting emergencies
- Ensuring teams have a central repository of processes, files, documents, etc. and disseminating information timely, collectively, and comprehensively across the organization and to all key stakeholders

- Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office
