Strategy

Define the partner marketing strategy, priorities and budget. Support lead acquisition, enablement and activation through a solid partner marketing strategy and world class execution.

Team Development

Build the partner marketing team with high performing, experienced professionals who live out the Matillion values

Collaboration

Implement a holistic go-to-market plan and collaborate with internal and partner sales and marketing teams to execute on a worldwide scale

Foster relationships with key marketing stakeholders and executives at partner organization. Marketing Effectiveness

Engage, guide, and influence cloud service providers to maximize partner marketing execution effectiveness.

Define joint value propositions, sources of differentiation, industry verticals, messaging, positioning with ecosystem partners.

Manage the partner marketing team to success through tactical execution of GTM planning, development of co-marketing plans, presentations, marketing collateral, and review/approvals of partner plans and materials

KPIs and Budgets

Implement scorecards and KPIs, manage MDF budgets, and track goal achievement with marketing organizations within Matillion’s technology and consulting partner networks.

Essential

  •  5+ years of experience in partner marketing, partner business development and/or partner program management in the cloud software ecosystem
  • Successful history of identifying top talent, building teams, aligning teams towards shared goals, and guiding individuals in growing their careers.
  • Strong understanding of the fundamentals of digital go-to-market and core marketing functions (product marketing, demand generation, marketing operations, comms)
  • Proven ability to think and work strategically, while also driving rapid execution including personally contributing key deliverables.
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and simplify them to facilitate broader organizational understanding, decision-making, and action.
  • Enjoy working in a dynamic startup environment, and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Output orientation with very strong ability to personally create high quality, customer-facing content including presentations, web copy, solution briefs.
  • Passion for technology combined with an entrepreneurial spirit.

Desirable

  • Product marketing expertise including market sizing, market segmentation, offering design, messaging/positioning development, competitive positioning, pricing, packaging, product launches, and market research.
  • Experience working with or for AWS, Google, Microsoft or Snowflake.
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technology and a utility pricing model.
  • Business Development or Sales background a plus.
  • MBA preferred.
