The Director of Marketing is responsible for NextHealth’s overall marketing strategy and execution, with an emphasis on partnering with the Sales team to grow and close business opportunities. This accomplished candidate should be knowledgeable about healthcare technology, be able to communicate at a C-suite level, and be skilled in functional planning, project management, and “rolling up your sleeves” to get the job done. We are a tight knit group looking for a Marketing leader to step in, build on the recent investments we have made in the function, bring fresh ideas and have fun in collaborating and problem solving along the way. The right candidate will bring strong critical thinking skills, confidence to lead independently as well as know when to tap into cross functional partners and enjoy partnering in a flatter team structure. 

Job Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy: Responsible for formulating overall marketing and go-to-market strategy and managing budget as it relates to corporate and cross-departmental goals – especially revenue growth. Build on recent infrastructure investments in a new Corporate Website and Marketing Automation Platform to maximize impact with clients and prospects.

Content Generation and Distribution:

  • Develop and publish marketing and sales collateral such as case studies, newsletters, blog posts, white papers, podcasts, webinars, and press releases, working with internal and external partners as needed.
  • Oversee continued evolution of website content development, analytics, reporting and maintenance
  • Fluency with translating technical information into market-facing content for clients and prospects. Comfort with creating executive level collateral in collaboration with the Product, Services and Sales teams. 

 Campaign Creation, Execution and Measurement:

  • Create and execute marketing campaign calendar, leveraging Pardot, Salesforce.com, social media and other digital platforms. 
  • Identify and execute on opportunities and new channels to broaden reach across the funnel, e.g. PR, re-marketing, joint client speaking opportunities, paid partnerships, ets. 
  • Lead planning, coordination and execution of marketing events and programs such as conferences, speaking engagements, Executive Advisory Council (2x year), etc. to drive qualified sales leads
  • Develop and track metrics and success criteria for marketing campaigns and outreach. Utilize analytics tools and data for reporting and to identify areas of strength and improvement.

Leadership:

  • Manage a small team of marketing professionals include FTEs and network of freelance talent. 
  • Oversee and manage any agency relationships
  • Bring product marketing expertise to help guide the team as the organization builds competency in commercialization of a new suite of solutions

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS in marketing, communications, or business-related field
  • 7-10 years’ experience in marketing (preferably B2B) or comparable role; demonstrated success in healthcare, SaaS, analytics, early stage growth companies is a big plus
  • Proven executive-level verbal and written communication skills including top-notch editing and writing skills in both print and digital media are essential
  • Comfort and demonstrated results with data-driven decision making in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to effectively work and communicate with a variety of stakeholders across teams as well as to work independently. Experience with Sales pitches and/or Training a plus. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated success identifying and managing outside agencies and vendors
  • Demonstrated examples building social media presence across multiple channels and understanding of SEO drivers
  • Must know and have used advanced features of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc. and be comfortable with web-based tools and collaboration technologies
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Pardot, Salesforce, and WordPress as those are the technical tools that are the backbone of the NHT Marketing Team today
  • Experienced user of Adobe design apps a plus (Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)

Other Details:

  • This role is a full-time, exempt position
  • Starting salary range is $140,000-$170,000
  • This role will be eligible to participate in the following:
    • full employee benefits package
    • employee equity plan
    • variable compensation plan with annual OTE of $40,000-60,000
