Overview

The Director of Marketing leads and manages CirrusMD’s brand experience, external communications, and marketing campaign execution. Areas of responsibility include brand management, partnership marketing, creative services, event management, campaign development and execution, vendor and agency management, social media & digital marketing strategy, and marketing analytics. The Director of Marketing will also lead the development and execution of the product marketing strategy for CirrusMD’s solutions. The role works closely with Product Management, Sales, and Account Management to formulate, execute, and manage go-to-market activities. Serves as key contributor in determining business objectives, plans, positioning, customer acquisition and retention programs.  Owns the Sales Enablement function to ensure sales teams have the tools, information and programs to support funnel and pipeline development and achieve sales goals. With a focus on downstream activities, success in the role is measured by increased funnel, pipeline, and revenue through demand generation campaigns, sales enablement success and increased customer engagement. The role includes people-management responsibilities for marketing and communications staff.

The Director of Marketing plays a critical role in driving how CirrusMD is presented and received in the market through branding, communications, marketing campaigns, digital channels and events. The role interacts and establishes strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the organization including Account Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, and HR. The role also manages external vendors and relationships that support marketing activities, including Public Relations, Creative Services and industry relationships.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Manages staff of marketing professionals to deliver high quality products in the area of content marketing, tradeshows and events, creative services, brand integrity, collateral development, and internal and external communications

  • Leads strategy and thought leadership around partnership marketing and increasing platform utilization

  • Develop and ensure the consistent presentation of CirrusMD’s brand in all marketing products and deliverables

  • Responsible for brand assets and developing marketing materials

  • Own corporate marketing and thought leadership strategy

  • Manage conference activities, logistics and schedules

  • Collaborating with Product Management team, drives the tactical execution of campaigns and demand-gen activities

  • Oversee and lead the evolution and strategic direction of the CirrusMD website

  • Own inbound marketing strategy and the publication of consistent, high quality content on the CirrusMD Blog

  • Monitor and analyze Marketing and Communications performance on a quarterly basis

Strategy and Campaign Execution

  • Develops and executes strategic and tactical marketing plans for product to drive demand generation and opportunity cultivation

  • Works directly with UX team on campaign production and execution

  • Develops marketing automation/nurturing programs including defining metrics and reporting

Messaging & Positioning

  • Creates value messaging based on customer and market research, competitive trends; ensures consistency of messaging across all promotional materials and programs

  • Collaborates extensively with Product Managers to develop effective positioning, messaging, and tools 

  • Creates/maintains competitive intelligence programs, leveraging internal and external resources to capture relevant, accurate, up-to-date information on the competition and the market overall

  • Perform win/loss analysis and market research to drive sales growth

Sales Enablement

  • In collaboration with Sales Management and Sales Ops, identifies core competencies for product line sales success and develops training and support programs

  • Creates, drives and measures sales tools and marketing programs to support revenue goals

Partnership Marketing

  • Leads ideation and strategy around partner marketing offerings

  • Drives new ways to increase utilization across partner platforms

Reporting & Analytics

  • Monitors effectiveness and ROI of marketing activities

  • Creates monthly & quarterly Marketing performance dashboards and KPI reports

Buyer Journey

  • Provides expertise in the buying process, purchase criteria, and buyer personas

  • Presents to internal and external audiences to promote the story of our product

 

Stay current on marketing and healthcare industry trends. Research industry trends, key audiences’ internet and social media behaviors.

 

What You’ll Need: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field

  • 10+ years in Marketing-related roles

  • Mastery of contemporary digital marketing strategies and tactics

  • People management experience in Marketing organizations

  • Strong creative vision and ability to bring it to life

  • Firm understanding of marcom production and work flows

  • Experience in Software/IT/Cloud Computing environments

  • Experience in healthcare

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines

  • Excellent writing and editing skills

  • Experience marketing SaaS / cloud-based software solutions

  • Healthcare IT experience a plus

  • Experience with marketing automation and nurturing, CRM integration, and cloud-based marketing tools

  • Knowledge of and practical application of best practices for digital marketing, content marketing, social media marketing, and partnership marketing

  • Independent with ability to successfully execute with minimal direct supervision

  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally, in writing and via presentations

  • Adept at multi-tasking; able to manage multiple business units and/or projects

  • Able to balance both strategic and tactical imperatives, driving both to positive outcomes

  • Experience developing and managing a budget

  • Strong leadership and consensus building skills

We have a distributed workforce across the United States. For days you would like to work out of the office, our HQ is located in Denver's urban RiNo district within walking distance to many great restaurants, breweries and an RTD station.
