What is this opportunity?

CRM Director

We are seeking a results-oriented Director, CRM and Automation to create the future of our CRM organization. This leader will have responsibility for managing customer communication, supporting our B2C and B2B audiences of technology professional candidates and clients. This leader is a data-driven marketer, uses key quantitative and qualitative insights to shape engagement marketing strategies, and has a deep understanding of CRM best practices.

 

Reporting to the CMO, this leader will work closely with other marketing leaders, product, sales, and technology to drive technology professional engagement and support our sales team with customer communication and Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).

 What are we requiring for this role?

·Develop, execute, and manage CRM strategy for email and push notifications to drive best practice customer engagement in accordance with brand strategy and financial metrics

·Launch and scale retention and engagement campaigns while being accountable for best in class results

·Manage and optimize customer lifecycle programs – including prospecting, nurture, conversion, and up-sell      

·Manage a team of CRM managers and specialists, helping to grow and mentor them

·Develop quarterly and annual forecasts and performance metric goals

·Partner with sales leadership to ensure marketing is supporting lead gen and sales goals

·Develop quarterly performance marketing programs, including cadence, content, promotions, segmentation, and testing

·Develop and execute email testing and optimization strategies 

·Determine CRM technology requirements and infrastructure, and align global stakeholders on technology selection and integration

·Provide business stakeholders ongoing performance and results on CRM programs and communication

·Work closely with product team to build a seamless customer journey

·Continuously drive innovation

What do we prefer for this role?

·       7-10 years email and CRM experience, with specific experience managing lead gen, engagement, and retention programs to scale

·       Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop CRM marketing strategy and execution

·       5 years team management experience required

·       Deep expertise of customer lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and testing strategies to drive customer engagement, conversion, and sales performance

·       Strong data and analytical skills; utilizing and interpreting data and analytics to quantify and improve marketing results

·       Track record of acquisition and retention in an online business including general MVT testing and optimization

·       Fluent in CRM technologies and marketing automation platforms including but not limited to Marketo, Salesforce, Responsys & Spark Post

·       Strong knowledge of website analytics tools – Google Analytics and Adobe preferred

·       Excellent problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with senior leaders

·       Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.

·       Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with demonstrated experience collaborating and working with key stakeholders in Product, Sales, Technology, Finance, Data Science, and other Marketing teams.
