Let’s Roam is a startup that helps people explore the world and connect with others through scavenger hunts, BarHunts, restaurant experiences and more. Our activities help people connect with their environment through fun challenges and interactive games. We’ve helped friends explore the city, couples propose, and companies have a better work culture. Our company was founded almost three years ago and we are looking for very talented individuals to continue growing fast!

About This Position
The mission of the Director of Marketing is make the marketing engine at Let’s Roam roar. We will rely on this individual to take our early stage marketing initiatives and grow them into extensive strategies and successful campaigns. This person will grow the business through an initial hands on approach then build a team around them.
Outcomes
Build a robust, efficient marketing team
Establish and organize key customer metrics and KPIs to drive business decisions
Create go to market launch strategies for Let’s Roam activities
Implement, plan and organize marketing initiatives with internal staff and contractors
Create a consistent new lead funnel for large group/corporate events including team-building, bachelor/ette
Increase brand recognition and strengthen our brand image while ensuring consistency across all media
Create and implement profitable new user acquisition strategies in a variety of different marketing channels which may include digital, paid social, paid search, influencer sponsorship, traditional advertising, radio, over the top ads, and SEO/SEM.
Increase media coverage and PR
Develop a profitable marketing plan and oversee its implementation with hired contractors
Organize creation of marketing materials for our brand including the sales/fundraising team
Monitor and report effectiveness of marketing campaigns
Competencies
Track record of success marketing for early-stage startups
Hands-on then build a team around what’s working approach
Proven success in traditional and innovative campaigns across the broad spectrum of today’s marketing channels
Strong experience building B2C campaigns
Strong experience developing high level marketing and brand strategy
Strong leadership experience
Experience managing large budgets or building large-scale advertising initiatives
Experience with B2B campaigns
Position Description
Create go-to-market launch strategies for new products/services
Measure track and implement KPIs to rev our marketing engine
Strategize and implement new marketing initiatives
Start by building the campaign initially then hiring individuals to manage it more closely
Collaborate with sales organization to increase leads, improve lead to close percentage, and improve marketing materials
Recruit, train, develop and lead a qualified team
Create strategic partnerships
