The Director of Marketing will plan, lead and execute company’s marketing, content, and digital lead generation programs.  He/She will develop a good understanding of the Sensera Systems product offerings and target markets and will drive the company’s value proposition and messaging to targeted audiences.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan and execute digital marketing strategy including inbound program
  • Plan and execute messaging and content strategies
  • Ensure company’s position and image are consistently communicated to inside and outside stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain metrics to track performance of marketing programs
  • Forecast and track marketing budgets
  • Represent Marketing function on leadership team in business planning and strategy development
  • Represent Marketing function in product planning and product strategy activities
  • Plan and execute product marketing functions
  • Coordinate with sales team to gather inputs to marketing, measure performance
  • Plan, prepare and coordinate tradeshow presence and marketing efforts
  • Perform market research and analysis to support new product developments and new market entries
  • Provide editorial direction and oversight to all company publications
  • Represent the organization to media
  • Recruit, train, manage and develop high performance team (internal and external) for carrying out Marketing responsibilities

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated ability to grow awareness in emerging technology-based market
  • Strong project management skills including ability to efficiently manage multiple parallel projects and external deadlines
  • Experience developing and managing budgets, hiring, training, developing and supervising small teams
  • Very strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and grow a digital inbound marketing program based on direct email, content marketing, and paid digital marketing techniques
  • Experience with marketing automation tools to manage digital campaigns
  • Strong creative and editorial skills to oversee content creation

 

  • Self-starting with solid follow-through and multi-tasking capabilities
  • Able to handle fast-paced environment and challenging workload
  • 5+ years of experience in similar roles
  • Experience in Construction Technology (strongly preferred) or other vertical market experience
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent, preferably in related field

 

REPORTING:

This position reports to the CEO

 

POSITION TYPE / HOURS OF WORK:

Full-time employee, 40 hrs/week.

 

TRAVEL:

< 5% travel: Infrequent travel to tradeshows
