Director of Marketing
Summary/Objective:
Does the title ‘Growth Hacker’ appeal to you? Have you worked in all sorts of marketing channels such as paid advertising, marketing automation, traditional media, PR, etc.? Do you enjoy working in rapidly growing companies/departments?

The ideal candidate has experience helping grow companies and/or business units by triple digits. This person should have great knowledge of digital marketing strategies, trends, and tactics, as well as marketing automation, A/B or multivariate testing, conversion rate optimization, marketing communication, branding, and anything that will enable us to continue growing at a rapid pace. In addition, the candidate will not freeze at the sign of adversity but will rather be a fast-learner that can research new channels or trends that could be implemented for the benefit of the company. Lastly, the candidate will have a solid data analytics acumen to be able to optimize ROI and teach our organization about findings from our campaigns.
The candidate will oversee a team of professionals (currently two) and work very closely with sales in optimizing current campaigns, as well as brainstorming and launching new ones.

- Superior knowledge of digital marketing tactics (paid search, display, SEO, email – outbound and lifecycle campaigns, etc.) as an individual contributor and manager
- Lead generation expertise for B2B and B2C
- Skillful use of hypothesis testing for A/B and multivariate testing
- Systematic and process driven, not spray-and-pray approach
- Not data driven but data centric
- Prefers to get top and bottom line results than to increase “brand awareness”
- Ability to create business cases for new ideas to test
- Must take ownership, be proactive, inspire others, have bias for action, and be a self-starter
- Must be a leader and builder, not merely a manager
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization
Required Education & Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in Marketing/Business or data-centric fields (or equivalent work experience)
- 5+ years total professional experience; at least five years of proven successful management and leadership in traditional and digital marketing campaigns
- MBA preferred but not required
- Experience at start-ups or rapidly growing companies is a plus
- Experience at rapidly growing business units (regardless of company size) also a plus

- Bullseye – Traction Framework Experience
Supervisory Responsibilities: Copywriter and Digital Marketing Manager as well as their teams. Any potential new hires.
Travel: Less than 5% expected.
