Have you been grinding up the ad-agency ladder or obtained a position of responsibility in a B2B marketing department for the past few years to the point and feel ready to take on a challenging but much more rewarding growth opportunity? We are looking for someone who is going to kill it as an individual to help us drive qualified business leads and then build a team as we scale.

Founded in 2015 by college roommates Sean De Clercq and Erik Straub, Kickfurther is a Boulder-based startup turning the world of retail/ecommerce business financing upside-down (in a good way). This crowd-financed model breaks away from traditional Merchant Cash Advance and Purchase Order financing in a way that enables growing CPG businesses with annual sales up to 15 million to raise working capital so they can produce inventory. Kickfurther is a Boomtown 2014 Alumnus, has raised $3MM from investors including Tim Draper and Bill Tai, and has funded over $25MM for its clients since launch.

Ever wonder what happens when a company with a cool new product gets a large order from someone like Urban Outfitters or their Amazon sales are through the roof? How do they have the money it takes to make all the stuff for these sales channels while investing up front in growth channels? Sometimes they don’t, and they fail...just when they are seeing the most success in the history of their businesses. Other times, they have to give up a significant equity stake or take on exorbitantly high debt just to keep their business moving forward.

Kickfurther created a marketplace model to help these business owners affordably raise funds for inventory production and grow their business, with the added benefit of thousands of community members who are eager to back them and help them grow.

We have spent the last 3 years optimizing our product offerings and now it’s time to pump the gas! You will be our internal ad agency; responsible for all aspects of digital marketing to generate leads for our sales team.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Set up and test key advertising campaigns: digital ad funnels, content, SEO/SEM, email, affiliate, PR, content, and social media marketing 
  • Identify and manage the correct channels to produce both short AND long-term results
  • Evaluate website traffic and track conversions using Google Analytics and other relevant tools
  • Write ad copy (we will help) and manage designers, vendors, and affiliates
  • Optimize campaigns to deliver highest ROI to meet lead generation quota
  • Prioritize and maximize output as an individual with a universe of opportunities
  • Prove yourself as an individual and then build and manage a team to scale your success
  • Interface directly with our QC, development, legal, and leadership team members to be a cohesive and lean growth machine

Qualifications:

  • Degree in finance, marketing, business operations, or something completely unrelated
  • YOU MUST BE AWESOME AT GENERATING B2B LEADS
  • 5+ years relevant lead generation experience, B2B experience strongly preferred
  • Very strong track record of learning and using new technology tools in the workplace 
  • Very strong written and oral skills with the ability to write copy
  • Experience managing vendors/affiliates/designers
  • Skillful with ROI attribution, GA, pixel placements/tracking, and other forms of documenting customer acquisition costs
  • Ability to perform in a high pressure, startup environment - make no mistake, working for Kickfurther is not all foosball and kegs. We work hard, but we do have a good time doing it!

You’ll report to our VP of Business Development. Competitive compensation with benefits included. Office located in sunny downtown Boulder, CO. Looking for a full-time employee, available ASAP. EEOC Employer.

Salary: $60,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year

Sales cycle: Less than 90 days

Typical financing amount provided: $50-$200k
