POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Director of Global Marketing is responsible for developing and executing on the global strategies and integrated marketing plans to support the commercialization of Archer’s products, both research and clinical, to achieve clearly defined business objectives. You will design and drive targeted programs and initiatives designed to educate, create awareness, drive leads and optimal conversion from opportunity to sale. Additionally, you will also craft programs that will drive reorder and customer retention.

The Director of Global Marketing will set the foundation for growth, ensuring that the team and the processes are not only set up to achieve the business objectives but also supporting scale. You will lead a portfolio marketing team that supports products by class and applications. Global and regional programs span across multiple customer segments from research to clinical, necessitating processes that scale effectively while ensuring compliance as we expand our impact on precision oncology.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Design and deliver a comprehensive strategy to ensure successful adoption and expansion of Archer’s products in the market
  • Research, analyze, and synthesize overall market data to segment customers and reach them effectively
  • Works with Product Management in making critical decisions for the prioritization of marketing initiatives.
  • Drive thought leadership in the oncology research and clinical NGS space
  • Lead the implementation and execution to achieve specific business objectives
  • Effectively position ArcherDx across a dynamic and competitive clinical, technology, and market landscape
  • Champion the “look and feel” of the brand to both internal and external audiences and monitor compliance to brand standards
  • Ensure alignment of brand elements with business’ core values, establishing trust and credibility with customers, strengthening the value proposition in order for increased customer loyalty
  • Ensure branded product differentiation that demonstrates customer-centricity and technology leadership
  • Leverage all appropriate marketing channels, tools, and strategies to effectively develop and execute a cohesive and data-driven marketing plan
  • Drive a culture of collaboration to think big and execute with organizational clarity and shared purpose across all functions
  • Create a data-driven approach for the design and optimization of campaigns, as well as receipt and application of customer feedback that guides execution to ensure campaign relevance
  • Develop company-, market-, segment-, and product-level strategic messaging that is clear and actionable across the organization and to external groups through our corporate communications
  • Strengthen marketing competency across cross-functional teams within the business, improving the base level of knowledge and providing exposure to emerging marketing trends

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • At least eight years of marketing experience in Biotech, Medical Device or In-vitro Diagnostics, or closely related field with progressive, increasing leadership responsibilities, in both emerging and established companies
  • Prior product management experience is a plus
  • Domain knowledge of oncology and the application of existing and developing technologies in this field
  • Outstanding marketing leadership track record with strong history of driving results, prior experience in strategic planning, branding, product management, communications, executive-level business partnerships, and team building
  • Proven success in developing comprehensive strategies and executing integrated plans to achieve performance targets,
  • Established network across the healthcare landscape; strong customer focus with the ability to effectively and quickly build relationships built on trust, respect, and results-oriented communication
  • Proven ability to operate in absolute compliance with all applicable regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies
  • Effective at managing change and building a business with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Significant experience in:
    • Understanding of B2B and/or B2C content marketing, marketing automation (eg. Hubspot) and classical channel marketing.
    • Developing digital acquisition and retention strategies based on direct-response, data-driven insight.
    • Content & email marketing, website optimization, social media campaigns, SEO/SEM required.
    • Managing established KPIs spearheading analytics reporting, analysis and communication of implication
  • Demonstrated record of being resourceful in finding ways to achieve what is needed with a “can-do” and “make it happen” mindset that delivers results and inspires others
  • Strong and collaborative leadership experience, balancing strategic skills with tactical execution
  • Possesses a natural orientation toward creative problem-solving in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates values, leading by example to the team and the broader organization
  • Management experience fostering a culture where people are passionate about their work, grow their capabilities, and are empowered to do their best work

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's Degree in life sciences field, PhD or MBA strongly preferred

Location: Flexible, North America

Up to 25% travel may be required
