Job Description

Director, North America Field Marketing

 

The Director of North America (NOAM) Field Marketing will be dedicated to activities that leverage proximity to sales. Includes setting the regional go-to-market strategy based on sales goals, localizing global campaigns, and executing pipeline acceleration programs. Actively supports the field in achieving monthly bookings targets and leads a group of NOAM field marketing managers.

This position will be based in the company’s Denver, CO office.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Define the charter and goals for a NOAM field marketing team, including recruiting talent and providing coaching and mentorship to your team, and the broader global field marketing organization
  • Lead your team and work with the NOAM sales organization to build the annual regional marketing plans focused on driving bookings across all segments of the business: Enterprise, Commerical & Customer expansions
  • Liaise with Marketing Ops to develop metrics and dashboards to illustrate ROI of Field Marketing impact
  • Work closely with the global campaigns, corporate events and product marketing team to launch relevant local campaigns focused on sales velocity, engagement from target market accounts, and new bookings. Hands on work in Marketo and salesforce.com required.
  • Work with local sales executives and marketing managers to lead your team in defining, managing and hosting events with customers, partners, prospects, and industry thought leaders. Evaluate industry events and programs for their ability to generate sales interest and pipeline. Use these events to build the brand, develop sales pipeline, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Analyze the marketing funnel, channel mix and customer segmentation to formulate ideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline acceleration across different customer segments and personas
  • Be the champion in developing account based marketing strategies to ensure share of wallet increase for selected accounts
  • Be accountable for NOAM Field Marketing budget planning & monitoring

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Experienced marketing professional with 5 - 8 years professional work experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the SaaS or Enterprise Software markets
  • A minimum of 3 - 5 years demonstrated experience and leadership in demand generation or field marketing roles
  • Experience working within salesforce.com and Marketo (or other marketing automation platforms)
  • Ability to excel at creating marketing strategy and vision and seeing it through to successful execution
  • Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through highly effective marketing and measured results
  • Strong management skills with ability to influence and engage direct reports, indirect reports, and work collaboratively and successfully with peers and colleagues
  • Highly collaborative and proven ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments and functions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (internal and external)
  • Data-driven/Analytical mindset
  • High-energy, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time
  • Ability to travel is required (approximately 30-50%, depending on time of year) to support trade shows and regional events, deal support, company meetings, and general team management requirements.

Our new office is in the Denver City Center near plenty of shops and restaurants. We also have amazing views of the Rocky Mountains from our windows.
