ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director – eCommerce role is meant for someone who wants to help lead our high growth eCommerce team. This team specializes in Amazon ads management, feed management, as well as supports advanced Shopping strategy on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising for our SEM account teams. In the Director role, you will have a big hand in growing MT's newest service line, Amazon ads management.

Requirements include a passion for eCommerce and digital advertising, as well as hands to keyboard experience with Amazon Ads. You'll be scaling new service offerings on a high-growth team, so we are looking for a people-focused leader who wants to join a fast-growing, fun digital agency that is hyper-focused on client performance and ROI.
Team Management

  • Manage existing 6 person Denver eCommerce team comprised of Team Leads, Senior eCommerce Managers and eCommerce Associates 
  • Hire, coach and grow that team to 10+ in 2020
  • Focus on personnel development through ongoing feedback, performance reviews and quarterly 1-on1s with team members
  • Provide support and recognition for your team
  • Ability to motivate and guide team to hit quarterly account growth and retention targets

Service Line Growth 

  • Identify existing client opportunities to cross sell Amazon services 
  • Partner with the sales team to pitch Amazon services to new clients 
  • Continue to build expertise in eCommerce specific digital channels with the opportunity to build out additional relevant service lines for Metric Theory 

Client & Revenue Oversight

  • Drive Amazon account strategy
  • Generate and oversee strong revenue growth from client renewals
  • Participate in onboardings, renewal calls, and other important client communications managed by the eCommerce team
  • Serve as a senior sponsor & executive contact for eCommerce team top spend accounts 


ABOUT YOU
Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree or equivalent work experience
  • Ideal candidate has 3+ years of agency digital advertising experience
  • Management of Amazon ad accounts with budgets over $50,000 in monthly spend 
  • Ability to think strategically and drive solid results to grow the business
  • Strong data analytics and strategy background
  • 2+ years of people management experience, including hiring responsibilities & reviews
  • Not afraid to get in the weeds, but still also able identify larger direction of the team & digital marketing industry
  • Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to client-side executive teams
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an eagerness to work as a member of a fast-growing team
  • Sales experience is a plus 
  • Experience with feed management and Shopping ads (Google Ads & Microsoft Ads) a plus

Final title and compensation dependent upon experience.
