About the position

As Director of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for driving inbound demand generation and expand customer adoption. Based on data and aligned firmly to revenue goals, you’ll design and execute the strategy, programs, measurement and optimization required to achieve or exceed targets. You will own website strategy and performance, inbound campaign design and execution, SEO, SEM, paid advertising and social programs, email, measurement and optimization, and the strategic use and management of the marketing automation platform. You’re skilled at driving an impactful, messaging-driven strategy with the rigor of metrics-driven tactical execution. You enjoy working closely with product marketing, sales and operations teams that are fast-moving and motivated to reach a common goal.

Position responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies that are focused primarily on revenue goals
  • Plan, execute, and optimize all digital marketing campaigns and initiatives, across SEO, SEM, email, affiliates, sponsorships, advertising, and social media
  • Lead inbound demand generation including building targets for each stage of the funnel based on conversion data to achieve revenue targets, managing the funnel in concert with sales, and optimizing based on performance
  • Manage the IntelePeer website for high performance via regular technical and content updates and UX enhancements
  • Ensure web content is effective at driving desired behavior, analyze and report on web traffic trends, and identify and act on optimization opportunities
  • Manage agencies engaged in SEO and SEM, advertising and paid social, and web site Evolve content to address keyword ranking and advertising effectiveness, and address web content and CX to improve performance
  • Lead paid advertising and sponsorship efforts that attract qualified leads and grow our presence, including paid search, display advertising, and sponsorships
  • Own social media marketing leveraging content to expand awareness, increase followers and engagement, and drive positive reviews
  • Support partner marketing including webinars and events with email, digital advertising, and social media
  • Ensure appropriate integration of leads with marketing automation platform
  • Drive a performance culture through rigorous reporting and analysis, with a particular emphasis on campaign performance and lead funnel management
  • Manage a digital marketing team, and ensure meaningful growth opportunities
  • Innovate through ongoing experimentation and evaluation of new technologies, strategies and tactics
  • Provide thought leadership around the latest in digital marketing

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree/MBA preferred

    Expertise & experience

    • 10+ years of experience in digital marketing
    • Experience in B2B technology and SaaS delivery models
    • Familiarity with CPaaS, SaaS (software, hardware, distributor companies) is preferred
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing digital marketing strategies and programs, including integrated campaigns, SEO/SEM, email, display advertising, affiliates/sponsorships, social media with the primary goal of company growth
    • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
    • Proven skill at managing a demand funnel, including establishing goals, optimizing conversion and aging, and collaboration with sales that drives to meeting revenue goals
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments as optimization tools
    • Solid knowledge of Marketo and salesforce.com, website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends), ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas), and Google Adwords
    • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platform, and a working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
    • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in tracking and measuring results
    • Ability to research and quickly grasp and understand new and rapidly evolving technologies and trends
    • Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of urgency
