Why this role

Evolve is looking for a Director, Demand Generation to help us capitalize on record-breaking demand for vacation rental. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced demand generation marketer to lead Evolve through significant growth by leveraging your expertise in building and scaling omni-channel paid marketing programs. Your work will be instrumental in shaping the trajectory of this rapidly growing company.  

We’re looking for a teammate who brings a blend of strategic chops, technical expertise in all paid marketing channels (including online and offline), and strong team leadership skills. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll work closely with both our Owner and Guest audience marketing teams to ensure we achieve growth targets for property acquisition and direct bookings generated. You will own the strategy, budget and resourcing for all of paid marketing channels and will lead both an internal team and external agencies to deliver on objectives.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for delivering on demand generation targets for both the supply-side and the demand-side of Evolve’s business including brand awareness, website traffic, Owner lead generation / cost per lead, Guest bookings / ROAS. 
  • Leverage your expertise in paid marketing channels (including social, search, display, direct mail, online video, out-of-home, audio, referral and more) to create innovative demand generation strategies designed to achieve Evolve's growth goals. 
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate business objectives and audience insights into effective demand generation campaigns. Meet regularly with stakeholders to review funnel metrics, assess pipeline health, identify key challenges, and present recommendations. 
  • Manage a multi-million dollar annual budget, ensuring it’s meticulously planned, optimized and delivered. Establish spend and return forecasts and provide marketing leadership with forecast updates based on investment recommendations, performance, market conditions, seasonality and more.
  • Build and lead a team of digital and traditional marketing experts (including both in-house teammates and agency partners) responsible for individual channel strategy and tactical execution.
  • Partner with your team to establish and manage channel-level budgets, goals and KPIs. Track progress vs. goals and make recommendations for strategic adjustments needed to keep us on pace to hit or exceed our goals.
  • Build demand generation roadmaps designed to keep our programs ahead of the curve and maintain strong return on investment. Responsible for ensuring we’re leveraging the latest and greatest channels, tools, agencies and more to put us in a position to achieve our goals. Negotiate vendor agreements in support of goals and objectives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and optimization through rapid testing and learning across existing and new channels.
  • Strategic thought leader in how to improve the sophistication of our demand generation efforts.

What makes you a great fit

  • 10+ years marketing experience with a focus in demand generation for both B2C and B2B brands 
  • 5+ years successfully leading and coaching managers and individual contributors 
  • Fluency in all digital and traditional marketing channels with proven success at achieving growth targets at a strong return on investment 
  • Excellent strategic planning skills with experience building and flawlessly executing against roadmaps aligned to business objectives 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to both effectively present to senior leadership and speak the technical language of channel experts 
  • Excellent collaboration skills and effective at gaining alignment with stakeholders
  • Comfort challenging the status quo with a focus on constantly gaining efficiency 
  • Self-starter who proactively makes data-driven decisions 
  • Experience leading brands through high growth 
  • Thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment

Evolve has a flexible working environment so teammates can work in our beautiful downtown Denver office, completely remote, or a hybrid of both!

Compensation

For this role our salary range is $150,000 to $170,000, depending on relevant experience.  This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.
