Job Title: Director of Content Marketing

Who You Are

Are you an exceptional B2B content marketer looking for a fast-growing company where you can have a big impact? 

We’re looking for an experienced content marketing leader who understands what it means to develop and pursue a content strategy, how great content can nurture potential customers, how engaging writing builds loyal customers, and how content can have a huge impact on the marketing funnel.

This is a key hire for Whispir. Your work as a contributor and thought leader will have a big impact.

You will work with a team including writers, designers, campaign managers, growth marketers, and product marketing managers. You will craft a thoughtful and clear story about Whispir, driving awareness, engagement and demand generation amongst our target personas.

What You Will Do

  • Work closely with the CMO to develop the global content strategy
  • Develop and run the quarterly content calendar
  • Have an impact from Day 1 ideating and executing content that drives our campaigns’ demand generation results and increases brand awareness among our target personas
  • Help the wider content and marketing team establish a content framework that ensures content is held to the highest standard of quality, is on-message, on brand and is leveraged to its full potential
  • Create and implement a content strategy based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends and competitive forces - this includes the development of themes/topics, content creation, curation and distribution to help drive thought-leadership, customer acquisition and success
  • Own content measurement and track how content influences customer actions
  • Coach and nurture your colleagues

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Exceptional storyteller, editor and content producer with 8+ years of content marketing experience with at least 3+ at a B2B technology company
  • Proven ability to set a strategy, influence buy in from multiple stakeholders and activate for flawless execution against a plan
  • Experience managing content strategy in global tech-driven companies
  • Proven experience using content marketing to drive the demand and lead gen funnel
  • Proven track record of measuring content effectiveness throughout the funnel
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and adapt to dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Team player who can work effectively and efficiently with others
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO
  • A passion for communications (we’re a communications platform)

Salary Range   $120k - $140k
