The Metric Theory Programmatic & Media team is looking to add a Digital Strategist to our quickly growing team in any of our 5 offices nationwide or full-time remote! The P&M team helps to develop and execute multi-layered media plans via direct buys with online publishers, as well as programmatic media buying across varying ad mediums (CTV, display, video & more).

The Digital Strategist is responsible for media planning, negotiating, and executing from the time of client discovery through campaign wrap up. You will serve a portfolio of clients and collaborate across an integrated team to ensure media plans are delivered flawlessly in line with customer processes and standards. You would be joining Metric Theory’s fastest growing team on the ground floor.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop strategic, multi-layered media campaigns to address specific client goals ranging from brand awareness to direct response
  • Own partner RFPing and outreach to build an extensive rolodex of best in class vendors and publications who are relevant to MTs top verticals
  • Monitor media in-flight campaign pacing, budgets, optimizations, and results, both in-flight and post buy
  • Create reports and provide data-driven recommendations that support optimizing campaigns towards client’s desired KPIs
  • Measure impact and effectiveness of campaigns using quantitative and qualitative metrics
  • Present campaign recaps and insights to strategic planners and client teams
  • Provide subject matter expertise on executing programmatic media campaigns across different programmatic platforms
  • Manage budgeting and billing related approvals alongside internal fiancé team
  • Handle ad trafficking in DCM when relevant to media plan
  • Troubleshooting trafficking issues related to creative & publisher implementation, escalating to ad ops as needed

Qualifications:

  • You exhibit a strong attention to detail and knack for organization which allows you to effectively prioritize and triage workflow according to the team’s and the company's growing needs.
  • You are an excellent problem-solver with strong communication skills who is resourceful with no reservations about tackling uncharted territory or unique problems.
  • You have experience managing a variety of vendors and publication partners with a strong knowledge base of industry best practices.
  • 3+ years in digital marketing with at least 1 year in media planning, preferably agency-side
  • Experience leading client facing media discussions
  • Experience creating media plans that consist of direct publisher buys, content syndication, and programmatic (Display, CTV, Audio etc.)Ability to contribute individually, take direction and participate in cross-functional teams with a positive attitude
  • Very high attention to detail and ability to synthesize large amounts of data into actionable information
  • Hands on experience in Google Tag Manager & DoubleClick Campaign Manager
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

Not a Must, But a Plus:

  • 2+ years in a media planning or buying role
  • Media Planning for B2B or Ecommerce accounts
  • Understanding of analytic platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Experience working with DV360 and/or The Trade Desk

Compensation

  • This role is exempt
  • Base Salary: $60,000 to $70,000
  • Target Annualized Cash Bonus: $6,000
  • Target Total Cash: $66,000 to $76,000
