The Role

The Digital Marketing Specialist is a mid-level marketing role that will serve as a key member of CampMinder’s Sales and Marketing team. The right person will play an integral part in driving the company’s growth. They will leverage keen organizational skills and an attention to detail to juggle multiple projects with ease while empathizing with CampMinder’s clients and prospects in order to understand their needs and communicate in a way that resonates. The right candidate for this role has a genuine passion for helping others and is motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a values-led environment.

The Digital Marketing Specialist will bring 3-5 years of marketing experience and a range of skills to the table, including exceptional writing and copy-editing skills, experience with content marketing, a general knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and best practices, SEO knowledge, Wordpress experience, a facility with modern marketing tools, and a hunger to learn. Most importantly, the person we hire will embody our core values and share our unwavering commitment to our clients’ success! 

An initial set of responsibilities will likely include:

• Managing freelance writers and curating relevant content for the CampMinder & Campanion Blogs to drive increased organic traffic growth through our online content and SEO strategy
• Writing and/or editing content for campaigns including our ongoing email newsletter, social media posts, and web content
• Providing project management for research and campaign projects that span multiple departments and outside resources
• Managing our social media accounts and monitoring social media conversations
• Monitoring analytics to surface actionable insights to better inform our ongoing strategy
• Optimizing our paid search campaigns and improving our remarketing campaigns
• Providing general support to the Sales and Marketing team

You could be a great fit for our team if you have the following:

• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
• 3-5 years of experience in B2B Marketing, ideally in the software-as-a-service space
• Superb organizational skills with a high attention to detail 
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a resourceful, “figure-it-out” approach
• Experience with a variety of tools such as Wordpress, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Ads (Paid Search + Display), Search Console, Data Studio, Facebook Business Manager, SEMrush, HotJar, SEOmoz, Hootsuite, UpWork, Slack, WP Engine, FileZilla, Asana, Trello, G-suite, and Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom and Premiere.
