Reports to: VP of Sales

 

Flowhub designs and builds user friendly business management and compliance products crafted specifically for the regulated cannabis industry. Flowhub is used by some the largest cannabis retailers and cultivators in North America. Flowhub serves more than 300 cannabis retailers in 7 states - Alaska, California, Colorado, Maryland, Nevada, Oregon, and Arizona - with nearly $1.5 billion in annual sales processed through the Flowhub Retail point-of-sale platform. The company was founded in 2015 and launched Flowhub Retail in 2016.

Our sales team is a highly motivated and energetic group of remarkable people that drive revenue and create new business. We utilize a Marketing, Business Development, Sales Executive, and Account Management department structure and are putting the pieces in place to create a robust and world-class sales organization.

Role Brief:

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Marketing Automation Expert will manage our company's marketing efforts so that we can engage with new prospects and build qualified sales funnels. This role will be driving excitement around the Flowhub Brand and maintaining Flowhub’s online presence. Within this role, you will have the opportunity to greatly influence our short and long term marketing efforts and work with an amazing team in the process.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive New Interactions with Prospects. Create, manage, all email, web, and social media lead generation campaigns to aid and assist customer acquisition efforts by use of marketing automation tools.

  • Generate Content. Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather, develop and build content, and assist in creative feedback for all digital communication campaigns, including email, SMS and push notifications

  • Manage Social Media. including Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and Twitter.

  • Coordinate Presence. Contribute to planning and executing trade shows and company events.

  • Continual Improvement. Champion constant improvement in all client facing materials, websites, email templates, etc...

  • Understand our clients. Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service departments on digital marketing communication activity to identify consumer behavior and trends.

  • Demonstrate Success. Analyze and report on specific campaigns, objectives, results and KPIs highlighting success, trends and opportunities.

  • Special Projects. Assist with any ad hoc marketing and communications projects as directed by the VP of Sales

 

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with CRM/Marketing Automation software, such as Pardot and Salesforce.

  • Deep understanding of email marketing best practices and industry trends, especially for mobile

  • Experience writing, editing and creating digital content

  • Experience building and maintaining social media presence

  • Experience independently developing marketing strategies

  • Exceptional written and oral communication, strong people skills, as well as the ability to work independently.

  • Excellent attention to detail, a commitment to meeting deadlines, and an ability to act as a problem solver.

  • Graphic design and/or a proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, video production experience, or familiarity with content management systems, such as WordPress, a plus.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field required.

  • 5-7 years of related experience with digital communications and email marketing or marketing automation campaigns

  • Proven knowledge of email marketing fundamentals: CAN-SPAM compliance, reputation management and industry standard KPIs

Location

While we are primarily remote, we do have a great office space located in beautiful downtown Denver right next to the 16th street Mall.
