The Pax8 social media accounts and website are some of our most important digital properties. They enable us to connect with our audience in meaningful ways on a daily basis and establish a sense of community around the Pax8 brand.

The Digital Marketing & Social Media Analyst assists with the ongoing improvements to our website, and the ongoing management of our social media properties — focusing on everything from content ideation to community management to ongoing reporting and analysis. Through data driven insights, he/she delivers a seamless user experience that inspires visitors to engage with Pax8 and take action. 

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

• Oversees management of social media editorial calendar and manages social media platforms to drive engagement and growth; proactively drives ideation for both content and creative ways to leverage platforms to engage the Pax8 audience
• Leverages data-driven insights to inform experience and recommendations; analyzes data from social platforms to site performance to determine how we make strategic adjustments; develops persuasive reports to inform internal stakeholders of recommendations
• Assists in ongoing research around the digital and social space — performing competitive technology audits, social media audits, vendor audits, trend monitoring, etc.
• Works in conjunction with Event Ops, Corporate Comms and Vendor Marketing teams to understand upcoming initiatives and effectively integrates into the social editorial calendar
• Works in conjunction with internal Marketing Ops and paid media teams to ensure demand programs are flowing and tracking properly

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in a similar role
• Experience developing and managing a social editorial calendar
• Passionate about social media content/strategy, and adept at using and understanding the nuances of all of the major social media platforms
• Previous experience working on integrated, digital marketing programs
• Proven ability to deliver meaningful content via digital and social channels
• Advanced knowledge of WordPress, Google Analytics, and Data Studio
• Excellent analytical and reporting abilities; is able to collect meaningful data via social platforms and Google Analytics and use it to develop strategic insights
• Experience using a CMS system such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, etc.
• PASSIONATE about technology, digital marketing, Internet culture, memes, and social media; stays current on cultural trends and what’s currently relevant online
• Global marketing experience preferred but not required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Has an entrepreneurial attitude and thrives in a rapidly changing start-up environment
• Ability to take on multiple responsibilities and be adept at organizing and leading around ambitious goals
